Dimensions summary
You choose from three independent usage-based options, each billed monthly on a different unit. inProcess Research charges per user, so cost scales with how many users you add. inProcess Data Factory charges per one million records processed, so cost scales with your data volume. DirectIT Managed Service charges as a multiple of your AWS monthly service cost, so its price rises and falls with your underlying AWS spend. You can buy any option on its own; they are not tiers of one product and do not build on each other.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You are billed per user per month. Each individual user account you assign to the product counts as one user. Your monthly cost equals the number of active users multiplied by the per-user rate. Adding or removing users changes your bill for that period.
DirectIT Managed Service is billed as 2.0 times your AWS monthly service cost. The charge is calculated directly from your underlying AWS spend, so it rises when your AWS usage grows and falls when it shrinks. There is no fixed monthly fee.
The three options bill independently and add together on one invoice. inProcess Research scales with user count. inProcess Data Factory scales with records processed, counted per one million. DirectIT Managed Service scales with your AWS spend. Whichever driver grows most contributes the largest share of your total.
