Tom Sawyer Perspectives is a low-code graph visualization and analysis application development platform. Integrated design and preview interfaces allow developers to quickly federate data and create custom graph analytics applications to extract valuable insights and explore data more efficiently. Perspectives provides graph drawing, tree, timeline, table, map, chart and inspector views allowing you to create dashboard layouts of your graph visualizations and deploy your application into an EC2 instance. Whether you are building an application to fight fraud, tackle supply chain challenges, manage networks, and more, Perspectives advanced graph technology helps you understand the structure and patterns in your data and reveals insights.

The Perspectives platform is data agnostic and includes a comprehensive set of data integrators for traditional relational databases, schema-less graph databases, RESTful APIs, and more, that can populate a model from a data source. Some integrators are a bidirectional bridge between a data source and a model, and support writing model data back to the data source.

Perspectives handles complex visualization requirements with features like nested drawings, advanced node and edge labeling, precise shape clipping, port and connectors controls, and incremental layout to see the superstructure of your data and produce visually clear graphs that are understood by domain experts and stakeholders alike. End users of your Perspectives applications are empowered to interact with the graph and data visualizations using pattern matching queries, flexible filtering, attribute-driven search, synchronized selection and highlighting across views, overviews, panning and link navigation, and marquee, focal, and interactive zooming.

Also included are two end-user applications: Tom Sawyer Business Process and Tom Sawyer Model-Based Engineering.

Tom Sawyer Business Process is an advanced business process design and execution application created with your entire organization in mind - from managers, to process modelers and task owners. It provides an intuitive interface for creating BPMN 2.0-compliant processes and has an integrated process execution engine to ensure processes are run precisely and consistently. Business Process makes responsibilities clear and enables teams to track tasks and spot bottlenecks, so your entire organization runs smoothly and efficiently.

Tom Sawyer Model-Based Engineering quickly generates diagrams for your Block Definition, Internal Block, and Parametric Diagrams. The application mines the data that describes your SysML model, finds the elements and connections that need to appear in your diagram, and then creates it. Model-Based Engineering saves systems engineers from hours of time manipulating incomplete and inelegantly arranged drawings to meet the demands of various stakeholders. Previously, systems engineers spent 80% of their time arranging diagrams, but using Model-Based Engineering, that number drops to only 5%. Add the Model-Based Engineering plug-in to No Magic MagicDraw or Cameo Systems Modeler and render diagrams directly from existing model definitions on your desktop. Access highly interactive and customizable Model-Based Engineering visualizations in the Teamwork Cloud environment where systems engineers can collaborate to analyze models.

64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)

    Amazon Machine Image (AMI)

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Version release notes

This release features usability and performance improvements for the Modern React-based web client framework for table, tree, and inspector views, toolbars, dialogs, context menus, as well as the Web Previewer. Improved documentation for web components and REST endpoints APIs and exposed REST services in Swagger User Interfaces make it easier to access server side components and commands during development. The Load Neighbors feature supports the ability to ungroup selected nodes in order to return more specific graph pattern results. Performance of connected component packing in the drawing view is significantly improved. Also, the Launch Center now includes a button to access the tutorials and demos on our YouTube channel.

This release resolves an issue related to third-party licensing in the Modern web client framework and also improves our support for Amazon Neptune openCypher with IAM authentication.

Security updates and bug fixes are included.
