Pre-bundled with this AMI: Mautic 6.0.6, AlmaLinux 10, MariaDB 11.4, PHP 8.2, Apache Web Server, Docker and Docker Compose

The application runs in containers. Mautic and its database are managed by Docker Compose on the instance, which means application updates can be delivered without replacing the AMI, and the database is not exposed to the internet.

Use your own domain name with a free SSL certificate. One command requests a Lets Encrypt certificate, renews it automatically, and redirects HTTP to HTTPS.

Exclusive Fixes and Resolutions by Elyxia Global Limited:

    • Background Tasks Actually Run: segment rebuilds, campaign steps and scheduled sends complete instead of failing. Hardened PHP images commonly disable the system call Mautic's background commands depend on, and the failure is silent: the queue simply never drains.
    • Installs on a Cold Start Without a Race: the application waits for the database to finish initialising before installing. A first boot where the database takes longer than usual is the classic cause of a half-installed instance that never recovers.
    • Database Closed to the Internet: MariaDB runs on a private network inside the instance with no published port. Only 22, 80 and 443 are needed.
    • Version Fixed in the Image: the Mautic version is pinned in the image rather than downloaded at first boot, so every instance of a given build is running the same application.

    • Customizable Marketing Platform: Full access to Mautic flexible open-source code, making it easy to customize marketing automation workflows.

    Dimensions summary

You pay by the hour for a preconfigured software image that runs on an Amazon EC2 instance. Pricing is not tiered by feature; every option delivers the same bundled software. Instead, each dimension maps to a specific EC2 instance type, so your hourly rate depends on the size and family of compute you choose. Smaller instances carry lower hourly rates, while larger memory-, compute-, storage-, or GPU-focused instances cost more per hour. Pick the instance that matches your workload size. Your total charge scales with the instance type selected and the number of hours you run it.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

You get a preconfigured software image bundling the marketing automation platform, a stable Linux operating system, a database engine, a scripting runtime, and a web server. The hourly rate covers the software licence for that image running on the EC2 instance type you select. AWS charges the underlying compute separately.
The software fee meters running time only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue hourly software charges. You may still pay underlying AWS storage fees for the attached volume while the instance is stopped. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
Cancellations within 48 hours of purchase qualify for a refund under AWS Marketplace's standard policy for AMI products. To request one, contact the vendor with your AWS account ID, the product ID, and your reason. No refunds apply beyond the 48-hour window.

    Amazon Machine Image (AMI)

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Version release notes

Release Notes for Mautic 6 Alma Linux 10 (EGL Build 260907.1)

    What is New:

    1. (NEW) Use your own domain name with a free SSL certificate. Run one command, sudo /usr/local/bin/egl-setup-domain.sh.x, and enter your domain. A free Let's Encrypt certificate is requested automatically and renews itself from then on. No email address is required and no configuration files need editing.

    2. (NEW) Automatic HTTP to HTTPS redirect once a domain is associated, so visitors reach the secure address whichever they type.

    3. (NEW) Reverse proxy included. TLS is handled by a Caddy proxy in front of Mautic, so certificates survive application updates and container restarts instead of needing to be reinstalled.

    4. (IMPROVED) Mautic now generates links using your own domain and https, including links inside emails it sends. Previously these could be built from the instance address.

    5. (IMPROVED) Installation no longer depends on a single image source. If one source is unavailable the installer falls back to others automatically, so a new instance can still be built.

    6. (IMPROVED) MariaDB is pinned to version 11.4.13, so every new installation gets a known, tested database version.

    7. (IMPROVED) Clearer installation messages, including a check that your domain points at the instance before a certificate is requested. This avoids the Let's Encrypt rate limit that follows repeated failed attempts.

    8. (FIXED) Storage is now removed when you terminate the instance. Previously the disk was left behind after termination and continued to be charged until it was deleted by hand in the EC2 console.

    9. (FIXED) An error reading "curl: (23)" during installation. It appeared if the installer was started once without sudo and then again with it, and it silently disabled the installer's backup image source for that run.
