You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you run this software on. The software price is the same across instances; your total varies with the compute size you pick. Options span general-purpose families (t3, t3a, m6, m7, m8 series) in sizes from nano and micro up to metal instances with dozens of virtual CPUs. Smaller sizes suit light workloads and testing. Larger sizes handle heavier, large-scale application use. You choose the instance that matches your performance and capacity needs, then pay only for the hours you run it.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
The hourly rate covers the Joget DX 9 software license for a 10-user configuration. AWS bills the underlying EC2 instance compute separately. Your invoice combines the software charge and the EC2 charge for each hour the instance runs.
The software fee meters running hours. When you stop or power off the instance, hourly software charges stop accruing. Stopped instances may still incur AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but the software license bills only for time the instance actually runs.
You pick a different EC2 instance type and pay that instance's hourly rate. Moving from a smaller family or size like t3.medium to a larger one like m8i.8xlarge changes your compute cost. The software supports large-scale deployments, including many cloud-native container instances for high demand.

Usage instructions
- Launch the image.
- Ensure TCP 8080 port is open in Security Group.
- Once the status check of EC2 instance is OK, access Joget via http://{public_ip}:8080/jw
- Default login user is "admin" without quotes.
- Default login password is the Instance ID of that EC2 instance. Please do not forget to change the password after the launch.
