Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour based on the AWS EC2 instance size you run this software on. The software deploys as a machine image on an EC2 instance, and each dimension maps to a specific instance type. Pricing scales with the instance you choose: smaller instances like t2.nano or t2.micro cost less per hour, while large compute, memory, storage, or accelerated instances cost more. You select the instance that fits your data throughput needs. Billing is usage-based, so you pay only for the hours the instance runs. No fixed term is required.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each unit is one running EC2 instance of the type you select, billed per hour. The software runs as a machine image on that instance. You pick a single instance type to match your data throughput, then pay for each hour that instance stays running.
Hourly software charges apply only while the instance runs. A stopped or paused instance does not accrue software charges. Underlying AWS storage fees may still apply to a stopped instance, but the software licence meters running hours only.
No. Your bill is driven only by the instance type you choose and the hours it runs. The bridge ingests data on a report-by-exception basis, sending updates only when values change. Higher message volume may require a larger instance, but billing itself stays tied to instance-hours.
