    This AMI provides a production-ready Hyperledger Besu Ethereum execution node paired with a Teku consensus client, pre-configured and syncing within minutes of launch. No blockchain expertise required, configuration is driven entirely by EC2 instance tags. This AMI supports Ethereum Mainnet (SNAP sync), Sepolia, and Hoodi testnets, with S3 snapshot restore to skip days of initial sync time.

    Usage Instructions

    Step 1 Launch the instance

    Use the CloudFormation Quick-Launch link on the listing page, or launch the AMI directly from EC2. Recommended instance type: m7g.2xlarge for mainnet.

    Step 2 Set EC2 tags

    After launch, set these tags on your instance:

    Step 3 Wait for initialisation

    Monitor the first-run script:

    journalctl -u besu-init -f

    When you see "besu-init complete" the node is configured and syncing.

    Step 4 Check sync status

    Step 5 Find your CloudWatch dashboard
