This is a repackaged open-source software product wherein additional charges apply for support and for providing it in a simple consumable AMI.hMailServer is an open-source mail server for Windows. Any webmail system which supports IMAP, SMTP, and POP3 can be used with hMailServer. hMailServer comes with a set of built-in anti-spam features such as SPF, SURBL. We have hardened this image for production-ready consumption and secured the image from all existing vulnerabilities.

Each hourly rate covers one running EC2 instance of the size you select, preloaded with a hardened Windows 2022 image, hMailServer, and 24/7 support. Larger sizes give more vCPU, memory, and network capacity. You run one instance per hourly charge and can run several in parallel.
The software charge meters running instance-hours only. When you stop an instance, the hourly software fee stops. Underlying AWS resources, such as attached storage, may still incur separate AWS charges while stopped. You pay the software rate again once you restart the instance.
T-series sizes use CPU credits and suit light, variable mail traffic with idle periods. M-series sizes deliver steady, fixed performance for continuous load. Both bill per running hour. Your hourly rate rises with instance size, so choose the smallest size that meets your sustained demand.
