This is a cloud-native AFFiNE runtime on the Websoft9 Applications Hosting Platform. It is always up-to-date, secure, and ready to use right out of the box with business support from Websoft9.
AFFiNE is a next-gen knowledge base that brings planning, sorting and creating all together. Privacy first, open-source, customizable and ready to use - a free replacement for Notion & Miro.
Websoft9 is a lightweight, self-hosting PaaS that allows you to deploy multiple applications on your own cloud infrastructure. It employs a GitOps approach and includes an integrated app store that supports one-click deployment of over 300 template applications, as well as the ability to deploy custom applications. Users have complete autonomy, ensuring that applications can be easily configured and continuously deployed even after they are live. Additionally, the web-based interface allows users to effortlessly perform tasks such as domain binding, HTTPS setup, access control, and status monitoring.

You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance type you choose to run this self-hosted platform. The software itself carries no license fee; pricing scales only with the compute instance you select. Options span many instance families, including general-purpose, compute-optimized, memory-optimized, storage-optimized, and GPU or accelerated types. Within each family, sizes range from small to very large. Your hourly rate rises as you pick instances with more CPU, memory, or specialized hardware. Pick a size that matches your workload. You can run and stop the instance as needed, paying only for hours used.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
One hour covers the running time of a single EC2 virtual machine of that type, which carries the AFFiNE software and Websoft9 console. The instance type fixes the CPU, memory, and any specialized hardware. You are billed for each hour that instance runs, counted per virtual machine.
The hourly software charge meters running time only. A fully stopped instance stops accruing the per-hour software charge. Underlying AWS storage fees for the instance's disk may still apply while it is stopped. To stop all software charges, the instance must not be running.
You pay the hourly rate for whichever instance type is running at the time. Switching to an instance with more CPU, memory, or GPU raises your hourly rate from that point forward. The change takes effect when you launch the new instance, not automatically. You choose the size.

Annual Subscriptions: Refunds are allowed if you are canceling a subscription to purchase a new subscription from Websoft9 at the same or higher rate. Hourly Subscriptions: We do not currently support refunds, but you can cancel at any time.

Notes
- You do not need to SSH into EC2 at all steps, easy to operate.
- Make sure the EC2 security group permits ports 80, 443, 9000 and 9001
