Odoo Community Edition, delivered as a hardened Amazon Machine Image (AMI) for self-hosted deployment on AWS. The Websoft9 Console adds a browser-based operations layer: HTTPS, backups, monitoring, one-click upgrades with rollback, and app deployment, modification, and redeployment for Odoo and additional or custom applications.

You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance running this preconfigured Odoo image. Pricing is usage-based, so you are billed only for the hours each instance runs. The dimensions are not feature tiers. General-purpose (m, t), compute-optimized (c), memory-optimized (r, x, z), storage-optimized (d, h, i), and GPU or accelerated (g, p, f) families are available. Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each unit is one running EC2 instance of the type you select, billed per hour. The hourly charge covers the preconfigured, hardened Odoo image on that instance. You are not billed per user or per app. One instance can host multiple databases through the multi-tenant setup.
Hourly software charges meter running time only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue the hourly software fee. Stopped instances may still incur AWS storage fees for attached volumes. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
Within each instance family, larger sizes add CPU, memory, or storage and carry a higher hourly rate. Cost is driven by the instance type and size you run, multiplied by hours running. Choose a size that matches your Odoo workload to control spend.

This is the free (community edition) version of Odoo 17.
But the database is somewhere in the cloud, not in RDS where you control the data. And there's an added fee of $495.00 due in 5 days.
I gave it 3 stars because it mostly installs without problems.
