    AI Insights

     Info

    Dimensions summary

You pay by the hour for this hardened Oracle Linux image, with no upfront commitment. The software price is the same across every instance you choose; your total depends on which EC2 instance you run and how many hours it stays on. Dimensions map directly to AWS instance types, from small shared instances to large memory, compute, storage, and GPU options, including bare metal. Larger instances carry more CPU, memory, or storage, so cost scales with the capacity you select. You can start, stop, and resize instances as needs change, paying only for actual runtime.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

You get the hardened Oracle Linux 9.3 ARM image preloaded with updates, firewall rules, and network protocols. The software charge is identical on every instance type. What changes is the underlying EC2 capacity you select, from small shared instances to large memory, compute, storage, and GPU options.
The hourly software charge meters running time only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue the software fee. Stopped instances may still incur separate AWS storage charges for attached volumes, but those are billed by AWS, not by this software license.
Your cost combines the fixed hourly software price with the AWS instance rate. Moving to a larger instance raises the hourly rate because that instance carries more CPU, memory, or storage. You pay the new rate only for hours the larger instance runs, with no commitment.
