What does one hourly unit map to for each dimension?
Each dimension maps to one running EC2 instance of the named size. You pay per hour that instance runs. The size sets the vCPU, memory, and instance family. For example, r-family sizes favor memory while c-family sizes favor compute. You count each running instance separately.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped?
No. You pay only while an instance runs, and charges stop when it stops. There is no long-term commitment. If the image is not running, the software charge does not apply. Underlying AWS storage for a stopped instance may still bill separately through your AWS account.
Do I pay Cloudwrxs directly for these images, and are licenses included?
You do not pay Cloudwrxs directly. Any payment is collected by the cloud provider through your AWS bill. Where a license is required, the vendor notes it in the product listing on the cloud provider's website. Otherwise, you pay only the hourly rate for the instance size you run.
