Very Thorough
What do you like best about the product?
As my title suggests, very thorough. I used the term "No stone unturned" in another survey recently because that's exactly what I feel every time we interact with them. They have great coverage against my entire stack and give us visibility we never had before. The responce time of the team is great on critical items.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tought to say. I often feel our meetings can drag on, but it becomes very evident why this is the case. They are very detail oriented. If anything, adding a sales pitch at the end of already long meetings can be a bit tedious but I understand they are a business that needs to make money. Tech-wise, they seem to be just in time to meet us where we are, as we adopt new tech.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Filling visibility gaps is the biggest problem they solve. They also provide excellent threat intelligence and ensure we are positioned to mitigate these threats.

Arctic Wolf MDR service
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to work with. setup was less than half the time previous MDR vendors took. Arctic Wolf provides us 24 x 7 SOC service and will customize the reports to what you need. Very good about working with us to reduce the alert chatter so after a few month had it dialed in and we are only getting truly actionable alerts now. The breadth of service has been very good and is a must as our team is a handful of staff with more duties beyond security. AWN makes it work for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ticketing system is a bit clunky to navigate but many are. This is something that we can live with. It also was a bit pricey but we have successfully worked with AWN to get a good balance of services for what we feel is a good price now. Have changed out our concierge security team a couple of times but that seems to be common with most service companies these days. Each rep we have had has been very knowledgeable and easy to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Covering our bases since we are a small IT team. Our company is 24 x 7 in critical healthcare and our IT team of less than 10 can't cover round the clock security monitoring. AWN really helps narrow down the investigations we need to work on and remediate. They also give us targeted advice and monitor to see that things are fixed. Great to work with.
Arctic Wolf Managed Detection and Response: Unmatched Cybersecurity Excellence
What do you like best about the product?
Having the MDR solution in place is not only great for collecting logs for threat remediation, it's also great for troubleshooting everyday issues where you need to review logs. I simple ticket to support can get you a wealth of information from the log collection. Another great thing about Arctic Wolf in general is the dedicated concierge team, they get to know you and your environment and with the monthly reviews you can continue to move your security posture forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike, it greatly is a great product!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having a dedicated security team and being a small company, having Arctic Wolf as our security partner helps us by being able to stay on top of security management. It also allows us to have a 24x7x365 team monitoring events on the network.
Effective SOC for a small IT Security Team
What do you like best about the product?
Arctic Wolf MDR help us to review all the logs from all of our security tools and identity relevant events that need our attention. It is also replacing our on premise SIEM. The Arctic Wolf SOC team is excellent and very responsive. The MDR solution help us to operate a very effective SOC with a very small IT Security team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data analytic tools for end user is not as user friend. Only limited data are kept online. Historical data need to be requested from archive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AWN analyzes all security events logs from all of our security tools and applications, and identify relevant events for classification before alerting my IT Security Team. This allow us to take full advantage of all the Security tools while running a small IT Security team.
Arctic Wolf's Efficient Security Engineers Elevate Your Environment
What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding process was simple with Arctic Wolf providing an onboarding engineer and project manager to ensure everything is working before your go-live date. Once you go live, the security team starts to assess your environment and provides meaningful security changes that can dramatically improve your company's security posture.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not experienced any issues with Arctic Wolf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arctic Wolf is solving our need for an MDR, vulnerability scanner, and security awareness platform. It benefits us by having additional eyes watching our network for threats 24x7 while also doing vulnerability scans from the same agent. The security awareness training is down to earth and easy for end users to relate to. Overall, Arctic Wolf is a great value.

Quick notification of issues. Reliable follow up. Great customer service including scheduled account review and recommendations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have not encountered anything thus far to dislike.

Rapid containment of risk affected computers. Quick notification of problems, including problem computers as well as security updates about software in use.

What do you like best about the product?
Arctic Wolf helps cut down the noise of a very log heavy environment full of nuisance alerts that can make it hard to discern where the real issues are. By leveringing Arctic Wolf we're able to focus on specific threats in our infrastructure and address vulnerabilities that put us at risk.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lot to do in setup and it can take months to effectively improve your security posture to something meaningful that you understand. It's not an overnight shift and it takes time. Not a fault of Arctic Wolf - it's a process that covers several layers of security across all areas of the infrastructure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arctic Wolf is helping us educate our users with security awareness training through their managed platform, and keeping us secure by keeping an eye on the daily activates ongoing that we simply do not have the time, skillset, or resources to go through. This allows us to work on other issues that matter in our infrastructure and building it out while effectively having a 24/7 service watching our backs and pointing out threats or vulnerabilities when they come up.
Quick action and great reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate dashboards. Large amount of reports. Quick action on alerts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Casts too wide of net sometimes when capturing risk info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps take some of the work off of our IT team with security alerts and risk management. Also provides good info and training to users. The short training videos are very helpful and easier for users to consume than longer training modules.

We've been using Arctic Wolf (both MDR and Managed Risk) for the past 5 years and we've derived great value from it. What I like best about Arctic Wolf’s MDR service is its proactive threat detection and 24/7 monitoring, which ensure that potential threats are identified and addressed promptly. The expert support from their SOC /CST team is invaluable, providing guidance and assistance during security incidents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Thee reporting capabilities could be enhanced to provide even greater value to users, report customization is very limited and we have to reach out to the SOC analysts for customized reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small team, so AWN helps provide proactive threat detection and 24/7 monitoring, ensuring threats are identified and mitigated promptly. It has greatly reduced the burden on our internal IT teams. This service offers a cost-effective solution for comprehensive security, helping organizations enhance their security posture and respond swiftly to incidents.
Managed security and peace of mind
What do you like best about the product?
The peace of mind it provides knowing that skilled, experienced people are monitoring 24 hours a day and the ability to reach support, quickly. It's also incredibly helpful that they let us know if we have software that is need of being updated.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to find something I don't like about Arctic Wolf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us, they're solving the problem that, while knowlegable regarding security, we are are a small department and not security experts. They provide the expertise and tools to truly monitor to the degree necessary, these days.
