What do you like best about the product?
Yext makes managing listings at scale easier, quicker, and more accurately.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yext's UI can feel outdated and sometimes difficult to navigate. The analytics tool is great at summarizing all your listings data. However, if you wish to learn detailed insights about individual listings it has not provided what we want to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to bulk update listings information. It prohibits users from suggesting changes to the listings and google or another publisher pushing those live. Finally it helps our organic/SEO/AEO presence be best in class.

It seems Yexts L1 support is outsourced, which can make communication difficult

I use Yext to manage and sync business information across search engines, maps, and directories from one place. I appreciate its real-time syncing that instantly updates business info across dozens of platforms from a single dashboard.

It can be expensive and sometimes overkill for small businesses with simpler listing needs.

I do think the dashboard feels a little old fashioned and to read the whole review before clicking into it is hard as it fits a small box

Well-Organized Backend and Effortless Scheduled Exports
What do you like best about the product?
I’m not a power user of YEXT, but I do like how assets and entries are organized in the backend, which makes it easy to search for and update entries. I mostly use it to export data for further analysis, and Yext makes that very easy by sending the exports to my email address on a schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
For my needs, there isn’t really anything I can point to that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve developed tools that use store opening hours as an input for forecasting systems, and with YEXT’s help I’m able to retrieve those opening hours to use with those systems.
