Flexible surveillance management with dependable performance
What do you like best about the product?
XProtect gives a centralized way to manage cameras and monitor activity across different locations. I can access live feeds review recordings and organize devices without the system feeling cluttered. The layout is practical and makes navigation easy even with a large number of cameras.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced configuration settings are not beginner friendly.

Managing surveillance across multiple areas requires reliable access to footage and quick monitoring capabilities. XProtect centralizes camera management so security teams can respond faster and review incidents more efficiently. This improves operational visibility and overall coordination.
Very helpful video security system with strong control features
What do you like best about the product?
I like how stable the system feels even when running for long hours. The video management is well structured and I can easily monitor multiple cameras without confusion. It gives good control over access and permissions which is useful when working with a team. The interface takes some time to learn but once set it becomes very practical.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial setup can feel complex and takes time to configure properly.
Licensing cost can be on the higher side for smaller setups.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me manage all surveillance in one place instead of switching between systems. I get better visibility and can quickly check recordings when needed. This improves response time and gives more confidence in handling security for client locations
Good control over surveillance once fully set up
What do you like best about the product?
What works best for me is how well it handles multiple camera feeds without slowing down. I can monitor different locations from one place and switch between views easily. The system feels stable even during long hours of continuous use which is important for security operations. It also supports different hardware options which makes it flexible when setting up across sites.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had issues managing separate camera systems across locations which made monitoring difficult. XProtect solved that by centralizing everything into one platform so now we have better visibility and control. It helps us respond faster to incidents and review recordings without confusion. Overall it improved how we manage security across multiple sites.
VMS management made easy with Milestone Xprotect
What do you like best about the product?
We are using Milestone Xprotect Corporate version. The UI makes Xprotect stand out as an easy-to-use product compared to other VMS tools available in the market. Not only UI but also other features like camera addition/deletion and modification is a very easy task for operator and VMS engineers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting tool. Milestone should work more on the reporting tool to get the adhoc reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Xprotect made the surveillance monitoring easy. Compared to other tools we used so far, we found no lagging issues with Milestone XProtect. camera driver issues are constantly addressed by milestone so that any new camera model can easily be allocated in to the VMS software. We have integrated the Veracity and awiros application along with milestone xprotect for command & control setup and video analytics. there was a smooth integration.

Security monitoring we can actually manage without a dedicated IT team!
What do you like best about the product?
The scalability of the Xprotect architecture is what has allowed our security operation to grow from a handful of cameras to a enterprise wide deployment without replacing any of the foundational infrastructure we built on initially. Adding new sites and camera feeds into an existing installation is straightforward enough that our facilities team handles routine expansions independently without pulling in specialist integrators for every change. The open platform approach has also meant that hardware choices have remained ours to make rather than being dictated by a closed ecosystem that limits options and inflates costs over time.

The licensing model adds a layer of cost complexity that requires careful planning and can produce surprises during expansion if device counts are not tracked meticulously from the outset.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing physical security across multiple sites with different camera infrastructures and no unified monitoring layer was creating blind spots that our security team could not confidently account for during incident investigations. Xprotect consolidated everything into one management interface and the ability to pull footage from any site without switching between systems has meaningfully improved both our incident response capability and the quality of the evidence our security team can produce when an investigation requires it. Insurance and compliance conversations have also become considerably more straightforward since we can demonstrate consistent monitoring coverage across our entire estate rather than describing a patchwork of disconnected systems.
