What do you like best about the product?

Xprotect offers great flexibility to my projects in terms of its open architecture and integration possibilities. The after-sales support is also very helpful and efficient in solving any challenges during deployment. The performance of the application is also well optimized and runs smoothly over the prescribed hardware configuration. The pricing is on the higher side, but its transparent and simple licensing policy makes it worthy.

What do you dislike about the product?

The app’s UI/UX is an area that could be improved. The interface would benefit from a more modern look, and a few features should be easier to configure. Adding basic AI analytics would also help encourage adoption and make the product more appealing to new users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Xprotect helps me centralize my sites, which makes managing the system much easier. It also helps me keep track of everything using tools such as system monitoring, audit reports, and the dashboard.

What do you like best about the product?

The best part of XProtect is its openness and the way it integrates with multiple ELV systems out there. Its huge list of supported devices and technology partners gives me strong confidence in its capabilities. The support team is also quite effective at providing the resolutions I need when issues come up. Pricing feels justified for what the product offers and the overall experience.

What do you dislike about the product?

The UI/UX feels pretty average, nothing particularly impressive; but the overall performance is smooth and jitter-free. While AI analytics from multiple vendors can be integrated seamlessly, I feel that at a premium, corporate-level price point, some AI analytics should be included as complimentary.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

XProtect helps me to solve 2 primary challenges.
1. Tag barcode of shipments and bookmark the same in the playback video which can be easily tracked in case of any disputes.
2. Centralized search feature allows me to quickly review my playback.

What do you like best about the product?

Its learning curve is roughly the same as any other user friendly VMS, but once you know it, it's an extremely easy product to use. It also integrates with virtually every other security adjacent software I've needed.

What do you dislike about the product?

This isn't exactly helpful, but honestly, nothing.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's a streamlined VMS; it works. Plain and simple.

What do you like best about the product?

I really appreciate how good the tech support for XProtect is. We had some technical issues and their team helped us work through them efficiently. The dashboard is another highlight; it's very user-friendly and enables multiple users to access the cameras they need without being overwhelmed by events. It's also worth mentioning that the setup felt pretty close to plug and play, especially after the support team helped us figure out which MAC address was needed.

What do you dislike about the product?

I don't like the inability to remote access a live video feed with XProtect.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use XProtect to stream video feeds remotely and get instant push notifications when something happens.

What do you like best about the product?

Xprotect integrates easily with a lot of alarm managers such as Irisity and a lot of thirdy parties. It scalable and has a lot of feautures

What do you dislike about the product?

The price on the licences is pricey for a lot of low earning clients. Also the lack of onboard analytics requires an extra subscription or expensive cameras with built analytics.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it for gate monitoring which notifies us if the gate is left open or have been opened. We also combine with 3rd parties to have robust systems that can be used to detect and prevent crimes before they occure

What do you like best about the product?

XProtect gives a centralized way to manage cameras and monitor activity across different locations. I can access live feeds review recordings and organize devices without the system feeling cluttered. The layout is practical and makes navigation easy even with a large number of cameras.

What do you dislike about the product?

Some advanced configuration settings are not beginner friendly.
The client software can feel heavy on older systems.

Managing surveillance across multiple areas requires reliable access to footage and quick monitoring capabilities. XProtect centralizes camera management so security teams can respond faster and review incidents more efficiently. This improves operational visibility and overall coordination.

What do you like best about the product?

I like how stable the system feels even when running for long hours. The video management is well structured and I can easily monitor multiple cameras without confusion. It gives good control over access and permissions which is useful when working with a team. The interface takes some time to learn but once set it becomes very practical.

What do you dislike about the product?

Initial setup can feel complex and takes time to configure properly.
Licensing cost can be on the higher side for smaller setups.

It helps me manage all surveillance in one place instead of switching between systems. I get better visibility and can quickly check recordings when needed. This improves response time and gives more confidence in handling security for client locations

What do you like best about the product?

What works best for me is how well it handles multiple camera feeds without slowing down. I can monitor different locations from one place and switch between views easily. The system feels stable even during long hours of continuous use which is important for security operations. It also supports different hardware options which makes it flexible when setting up across sites.

What do you dislike about the product?

Setup takes time and needs proper planning to get everything right
Some parts of the interface feel a bit outdated.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had issues managing separate camera systems across locations which made monitoring difficult. XProtect solved that by centralizing everything into one platform so now we have better visibility and control. It helps us respond faster to incidents and review recordings without confusion. Overall it improved how we manage security across multiple sites.

What do you like best about the product?

We are using Milestone Xprotect Corporate version. The UI makes Xprotect stand out as an easy-to-use product compared to other VMS tools available in the market. Not only UI but also other features like camera addition/deletion and modification is a very easy task for operator and VMS engineers.

What do you dislike about the product?

The reporting tool. Milestone should work more on the reporting tool to get the adhoc reports.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Xprotect made the surveillance monitoring easy. Compared to other tools we used so far, we found no lagging issues with Milestone XProtect. camera driver issues are constantly addressed by milestone so that any new camera model can easily be allocated in to the VMS software. We have integrated the Veracity and awiros application along with milestone xprotect for command & control setup and video analytics. there was a smooth integration.

I like how stable the system feels even with multiple cameras running at the same time. The interface is quite structured so it is easy to monitor feeds and switch between views. It also supports a wide range of devices which made setup flexible for my use case.

The setup process can take time especially for larger deployments.Licensing can feel a bit complex to understand at first.

It helps me manage and monitor surveillance in one place without juggling different systems. I can quickly review footage and track events which improves security response. This has made daily monitoring more efficient and less stressful.
