Great Tool For WordPress Developers

What do you like best about the product?
ContentBox is a powerful and straightforward content management system that is a perfect fit for small and large scale projects. You can create beautiful websites, corporate portals, and even powerful web applications with this tool. The team behind ContentBox has been hard at work developing new features and improving existing ones. ContentBox's latest release adds a ton of new functionality that makes it a much better option than other popular CMS tools on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I detest about this framework is that occasionally while bringing in information from different frameworks, the information can get lost or not be able to peruse or utilize somehow or another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Look at a portion of the recordings on Commandbox establishment on CFCasts to find out about what the cycle resembles. Worked for a client site utilizing contentBox, it's very simple to refresh for clients too.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Assuming you are searching for something that permits you to assemble satisfied easily and speed, this is for you!

What do you like best about the product?
Its ability to auto-update, the power, to import data from other systems, Ability to put the site in maintenance mode, and it has Media manager with detailed permission controls.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about this system is that sometimes when importing data from other systems, the data can get lost or be unable to read or make use of in some ways.

What do you like best about the product?
We enjoy the seamless integration with all flavors and versions of ColdFusion and Lucee. WYSIWYG Editor makes it easy for content persons with little or no knowledge of CFML or other coding languages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires ColdBox as an MVC, which at first glance is convoluted if you like the model to be the database, view to be the cfml and the controller to be the cfcs in a simple folder. But after some time dev teams catch on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration can be a challenge, but the ability to hire content authors and artists and not expect them to know any coding standards means we can be the contractor, and the client can do what they do without breaking payroll.

What do you like best about the product?
Content box has been a little-known secret that has been a powerful tool for building rich websites for years now. The latest release adds a ton of new functionality that other popular CMS tools simply can't match. Installation and site management are extremely easy and simple to set up. Additionally, the level of customization is unmatched as far as I have seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the WYSIWYG editor and media library were more robust like some 3rd party plugins. I also wish there was a page builder plugin that uses a "block" layout similar to other platforms. I also feel like the installer works best with MySQL databases and can sometimes be tricky to get it working with MSSQL Server. I

What do you like best about the product?
A modular content management system allows us to easily build websites and blogs, it's very comfortable to onboard new users.

since it is a new CMS tool, having lots of bugs needs to be addressed and improvise.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the straightforwardness of foundation - you can start another site adventure, from the command line, using their Command box instrument, by then serve it from an area CFML server, to begin improvement; it's genuinely just two lines.
Past that, the interface is impeccable, present day, and responsive.
In a general sense, it's a CMS that is worked for the propelled designer's coding work process.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as created as progressively settled substance the board systems. It's just not as battle attempted, and support for edge cases or progressively complex arrangements aren't generally verifiable. Parts, like the innate blog/comments features, are conventional for most little to medium size locales, which would utilize these, anyway are preoccupations for destinations not wanting to utilize these features. The eco-structure around it is moreover so far being made, and not actually create.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were searching for an effectively created CFML based substance the executives framework. ContentBox implied that, for littler sites, we didn't have to roll-our-very own answer, which is an incredible help.

What do you like best about the product?
In addition to all the things you expect from a CMS, there are a lot of options to extend it. Built on the ColdBox framework, its very modular and developers can easily add custom functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although there are a lot of well-thought-out features, there are some bells and whistles that other CMSs have out of box. Their interface is slick, though, and its being constantly improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ContentBox allows you to get a site up and running very quickly with the ability to add custom functionality. Built on solid programming practices, its MVC structure makes it easy to extend its use for custom display needs.

The Best Choice for Small to Mid-Size CFML Shops

What do you like best about the product?
ContentBox is one of a growing number of products offered by Ortus Solutions. In the CFML developer world, they're, in my opinion, the most active and innovative group. They're actively developing and supporting it, so it's something we felt comfortable using.

The best part is the ease of installation - you can start a new website project, from the commandline, using their Commandbox tool, then serve it from a local CFML server, to begin development; it's literally just two lines.

Beyond that, the interface is clean, modern, and responsive. There are a lot of built-in features for developers ("Geek Settings"), which make site administration and development easier.

Basically, it's a CMS that's built for the modern developer's coding workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as mature as older content management systems (Mura, for CFML, or Wordpress et. al). It's just not as battle tested, and support for edge cases or more complex setups aren't necessarily built in. Parts, like the built-in blog/comments features, are nice for most small to mid-size websites, which would utilize these, but are distractions for websites not wanting to utilize these features. The eco-system around it (their ForgeBox product, primarily), is also still being developed, and not quite mature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for an actively developed CFML based content management system. ContentBox meant that, for smaller websites, we didn't need to roll-our-own solution, which is a great time saver.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that you take advantage of the CFML Slack channel for support. The Ortus Solution team (who develop ContentBox) are always on and incredibly helpful.
