Dashlane Makes Strong Passwords Effortless with Autofill, Syncing, and Security Insights
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature is the automatic password generation and autofill capability. It saves time during logins while ensuring every account uses strong, unique passwords. The Password Health dashboard and dark web monitoring are also very valuable because they proactively identify weak, reused, or compromised credentials and help improve overall security.
Another major upside is cross-device syncing and browser integration, which allows seamless access to credentials on desktop and mobile. Secure password sharing, passkey support, and built-in VPN features add extra convenience and protection for daily use.

What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Dashlane Password Manager is that the premium plans can feel expensive compared to some competing password managers, especially for users who only need basic password storage. While the extra features like VPN and dark web monitoring are useful, not everyone may fully use them.
The free version is also fairly limited, especially compared to alternatives that offer broader free functionality. In addition, if a user forgets their master password, account recovery can be difficult due to the platform’s strict security model.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem it solves is weak or reused passwords across multiple accounts. Dashlane generates and stores strong, unique passwords securely, which reduces the risk of hacking, credential theft, and unauthorized access. This improves overall cybersecurity without requiring users to remember dozens of complex passwords.
Great for Browser-Based Passwords, Less Flexible for Non-Browser and Admin Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane allows centralized access to credentials without relying on local storage, so any browser can function as a secure workspace. This makes it easy to move between machines without setup or syncing issues, while keeping passwords consistent and securely managed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashlane can be difficult to use when working with non-browser credentials. The shift away from the desktop application has reduced flexibility for system administrators, particularly in environments where access to services, RDP sessions, or legacy systems does not flow through a browser.
This creates friction in workflows that rely on quick retrieval and injection of credentials outside standard web contexts. As a result, tasks that were previously streamlined now require additional steps or workarounds.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashlane solves the problem of managing and securing a large number of credentials across systems and devices. It eliminates the need for local password storage and manual tracking, reducing the risk of weak or reused passwords.
For my workflow, the main benefit is centralized access. Credentials can be retrieved securely from any browser, which allows quick access to systems without needing pre-configured machines. This improves efficiency when moving between environments and reduces setup time.
It also improves security posture by enforcing stronger password practices and providing visibility into compromised or weak credentials, allowing issues to be addressed proactively rather than after a breach.

Dashlane Makes Password and Passkey Sync Effortless Across All My Devices
What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane makes my life so much easier. It securely syncs passkeys, passwords, payment information, and secure notes across my phone, work devices, home devices, and iPad.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost keeps going up. Still, I’m really glad they grandfather you into the payment plan you originally signed up for. I’ve been using Dashlane for almost five years after switching from LastPass, and I haven’t looked back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generating unique passwords and storing/syncing them is the best part of Dashlane. I don’t have to come up with “memorable” passwords that might be easy for others to guess. It also lets me store multiple passwords for multiple accounts, even on the same website (e.g., saving multiple Google accounts).
Robust Security, Needs Better Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I like that whenever I log in to a new website, Dashlane Password Manager immediately pops up and gives me a suggestion for the password through its automatic password generator, which is in an encrypted form. This is the best thing I like about it because it saves that password for me, ensuring it doesn't get lost. Another thing I appreciate about Dashlane is that it helps me share the passwords with various access types like only viewer, editor, and so on. The initial setup was easy, which made getting started with Dashlane straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like about Dashlane is its portal isn't very friendly. Like, I don't find it totally friendly and interactive. It can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashlane Password Manager provides the security I need, preventing the fear of losing passwords. It helps me keep multiple passwords secure with special encryption and creates new passwords for any website instantly.
Secure Team Collaboration, Needs Better Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Dashlane Password Manager is secure and makes it easy to share passwords within my team. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it doesn't automatically type them in and it's really frustrating. I've told the Dashlane team but it still happens sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dashlane Password Manager for password storage and sharing across my team, and I appreciate its security.
Dashlane: Intuitive, Fast, and Feature-Rich Password Management
What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane Password Manager stands out for its intuitive UI/UX, making password management effortless. Its seamless integrations with browsers and apps enhance user experience, while robust performance ensures quick access to credentials. The pricing is competitive, offering great ROI, especially with the premium features. Onboarding is straightforward, with excellent support resources to guide users. Dashlane’s AI-driven features, such as password health monitoring and breach alerts, add a layer of intelligence that enhances security. Overall, Dashlane is a comprehensive solution that combines ease of use, strong performance, and valuable features for anyone looking to streamline their password management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say it would have to be the user management. Password resets are difficult. I do like being able to setup a division and they manage it themselves so that is nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is hands down the ability to save and rotate strong passwords for systems we use within our IT team.
A Password Manager I’ve Loved Since 2014—Seamless Across All My Devices
What do you like best about the product?
I was an early adopter, around 2014, and have loved the product ever since. I am a business plan customer. I can manage all of my passwords across multiple devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The VPN partner is a little uknown and there are better options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like being able to manage all my passwords in one place.
Seamless Browser Integration and Flexible Controls
What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane has great integration into major browsers and has flexible controls to let you tailor how aggressively it steps in to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
They integrated passkeys but support for passphrases is not available yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Supporting our password policy with a user friendly interface and password vault reduces the risk of user error and increases productivity.
Great features, but intrusive password autofill needs improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Password manager, payment manager and darkweb monitoring
What do you dislike about the product?
Always trying to add a password into fields that are not related to passwords
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password manager
Great app that does what it says
What do you like best about the product?
As an admin, it is easy to manage my users, billing, etc. As a user, it's the only password manager I'll use. I use it on my PC, phone, tablet. It does a great job and is easy to use, even for my most tech-phobic users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have very few problems with Dashlane and most of them creep in because of the nature of the web. Different sites have different login flows and on occasion I'll bump into a site where Dashlane doesn't know how or what to fill in. they have made improvements on that recently by adding Dashlane to the context menu
I also occasionally have problems with Dashlane wanting to help me fill things that I don't need its help filling. Like a contact record in my CRM. I can't turn dashlane off for the site because I want help logging in, but it doesn't know what I need to put into the CRM. That said, it never really gets in the way.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password safety and security, esp with my less security conscious users. No longer do I have passwords on post-its stuck to monitors. Passwords are reused much less regularly. It's helped us a ton in that area.
