Innovative, Easy-to-Use Documentation Platform with Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
We use Mintlify to host our customer-facing documentation. We like its clean UX and continuous update of new features. Additionally, Mintlify supports our requirements to support custom authentication to protect sensitive documentation well. We consider the developer documentation as part of key UX and having Mintlify there is big plus. New features like AI assistant and MCP support help our clients nagivate documentation well. Team also helped the initial setup so migration was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Mintlify is an early-stage startup, when we started using it a few years ago we encountered a few bugs. Said that product quality has improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Mintlify to host our documentation without maintaining our own site. It offers great search and AI features, and authentication support. The nice UI/UX enhances user experience, and the AI assistant helps clients navigate easily.
Fast Support, Helpful Web Editor, and Metrics That Improve AI-Friendly Docs
What do you like best about the product?
Customer support is very fast, usually responding the same day. The web editor is helpful because it lets my non-technical colleagues contribute to the documentation without friction. I also really like the metrics—especially the AI assistant logs—since they help me spot gaps in our documentation. The team is also responsive when it comes to adding new features to the platform. Overall, the Mintlify platform has enabled our public docs to be more AI agent friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
GitLab integration took a while to get up and running. After the first year, there was a drastic price hike, although they were willing to negotiate. There has also been some unanticipated downtime on the docs site from time to time, but we were reimbursed for lost time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mintlify is very active in the AI space, focusing on how AI ingests documentation and how to best serve that documentation to AI users, such as agents. This has helped our customers integrate with our APIs more quickly and easily.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Mintlify is how it combines developer workflows with AI and clean design. Documentation lives in a Git repository ,every change automatically builds and deploys the site.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is pricing, especially for smaller teams or early-stage projects. it’s often seen as more suited for funded startups than bootstrapped teams..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mintlify solves the problem of building and maintaining developer documentation efficiently. This helps reduce documentation overhead, improves developer experience and makes it easier for users to find and understand information quickly.

Onboarding from the technical side was met with a few kinks but really the Support was great and we're already on the other side

What do you like best about the product?
Mintlify changed the game for us. It’s clean, easy to use, and just works. Writing and scaling docs doesn’t feel like a chore anymore. The real win? Their support team—fast, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in our success.

Hard to find a downside—if anything, I just wish Mintlify did even more. It’s that seamless.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing which i like about Mintlify Doc Writer is that it has a very clean and easy to use user interface , any new person can easily access the site and the features in it are very helpful such as the document creation and editing . It also enhances the teamwork and efficiency to make the work faster,customization can be done accodrding to the usage or need of the app, it also has seamless collabration features for multiple users to interact at same time .
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now , all the features are quite good and not dissapointing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a student i use Mintifly Doc for Document generation , the process of creating document is very simple and seamless because of the UI in it , it also provides range of formatting options to edit the documents, due to this it saves my time and energy . It also provides Efficient collabration features to enable multiple users work at same time on a particular document , this fostersthe teamwork and accelerates the document creation process . It has very good Organization tools ,such as folder , tags which makes it easy for me to locate the file and floders which I have created by increasing the productvity and saving time.

I'm surprised at how easy it is now to generate the docs with one click. Extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wished they had a feature to generate documentation of the whole file at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has become easy to work with a team where we had to collaborate on different stuff. The code we write now can be understood by others easily because of Mintlify generated docs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool to use in your project. Adding docs while coding is a tedious task and it solves that problem quite efficiently.
the tool is real magic!!! Extremely accurate documentation generated and saving me so much time

I couldn't think of anything for now, probably more languages

Documentation is a real pain for developers... I do not enjoy documenting my code, and this tool totally lets me skip that process
