What do you like best about the product?

I like the configurable interface that provides a breadth of indexing options that target the needs of our client implementations.

What do you dislike about the product?

It took longer than I'd hope for some of the crawler-related issues to be addressed.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are a digital agency and most of our clients are associations. SearchBlox provides a platform for us to build search solutions and integrate them such that, once developed, client staff can maintain on their own. We leverage the crawler feature and the APIs for indexing and the REST API for rendering results. For many clients we provide a federated search that draws content from multiple sites.

What do you like best about the product?

The seamless integration, user-friendly interface, and powerful indexing capabilities.

What do you dislike about the product?

I'm not particularly fond of its complex setup process and occasional lack of responsiveness.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

SearchBlox Search Server streamlines data retrieval and improves search accuracy, helping me access critical information quickly and efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?

It's best thing is it's ease of use and implementation. It is very easy to manage tones of company data using the AI feature.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes the ai produces bad results and hereby making it's integration difficult in professional scenario.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

To manage my companies data using AI.

What do you like best about the product?

The ease of configuration. There is a significant amount of "point and click". The basic instructions are great as long as you are using the self-signed certificates included with the application.

Their new AI offering is extremely interesting. And a big win for custom search that isn't from the "big guys".

What do you dislike about the product?

The instructions for adding a certificate to the keystore that is not self signed are incomplete. I have provided updates to the documentation, but the last time I checked they had not been included. The information on the analytics software, and how to add a certificate to that was not covered.

The final thing I am not thrilled with is that we have sent several issues to searchblox support. They have never successfully provided a solution. In each case, I continued working through my personal knowledge of the application to discover either a work around, or the solution.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed to replace our old google appliance. The searchblox software has provided an excellent replacement. The custom front end has also allowed us to completely brand the searchblox interface. Ultimately, search is what searchblox is all about, and they do it quite well, and at a reasonable price.

What do you like best about the product?

SearchBlox provided a seamless migration from Google Mini Search Appliance. The software is easy to install, stable, and efficient. Indexing is blazing fast, and results are complete. Support and customer service have been excellent. We have installed SearchBlox on our own server and would highly recommend.

What do you dislike about the product?

License must be renewed on a yearly basis.

We have migrated several site search functions from Google Mini to SearchBlox.
