Efficient Reporting and User-Friendly, But Needs Better Intercompany Features
What do you like best about the product?
I find Sage Intacct to be user-friendly, which makes working with it enjoyable. I like the journals feature and how it allows for editing and duplication. The initial setup was very easy, especially since we used agents. I also appreciate the generated reports and dashboards that provide the ability to have timely financial statements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Intercompany accounting, matching across entities, AP billing, and partial payments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sage Intacct for timely financial statements and reporting through its generated reports and dashboards.

What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intacct automates critical processes like AP, AR, bank reconciliations, revenue recognition, and expense management, reducing manual entry and errors, and helping lean accounting teams handle higher volumes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Intacct has a noticeable learning curve, especially for users coming from simpler systems, and that basic tasks can feel “blocky” or unintuitive at first.

Bank reconciliation and creating invoices

Easy to Learn, Fast, and Great Value with Helpful Training
What do you like best about the product?
Sage university offers a lot of training and education, even as a first-time user with little training it was easy to learn, understand and get started.
The interface is easy to use and not all jumbled and cluttered. The pages load fast and my edits are reflected quite fast. The ai offered makes automation easier to use and understand. For what it offers the price is good and you definitely get a good bang for your buck. I havent used any integrations as yet however when I become a bit more comfortable I will definitely implement it in my workflows as it also looks easy to use

What do you dislike about the product?
For me its personal, I would like to be able to customize my workpages more and add more personality, however i acknowledge that this does not really affect the actual use of the product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage makes our billing processes easier and helps streamline our financials. It definitely saved us a lot of time especially during audit periods. It makes our financials easier to understand at a glance due to the dashboards feature. Also exporting to excel has never been easier and the format it arrives in is already mostly clean.
Flexible Intercompany Module with Seamless Integrations

Its intercompany module is incredibly flexible and adjust transactions is now direct, quick and dynamic - feeds straight through to dynamic reports

It seems to me you can only have true consolidations at group level. This creates some adhoc reporting inflexability which slows me down

It has simplified Intercompany significantly, through journals or billbacks it has taxation covered.

The dashboard is user-friendly, and integration is made easier

It has an easier user interface and makes the step by step procesess much smoother.

It is making our audit work easier as all transactions can be traced back to the origin.
User-Friendly, Intuitive Sage at a Great Value
What do you like best about the product?
I think Sage is very user-friendly and intuitive. Once you find where everything is, it becomes very easy to use and navigate. It's very powerfull and costs a lot less than something like a NetSuite

I don't really care for the way certain integration capability is kept behind a paid/application-based developer account. I haven't been impressed with the AI features to date either

Sage Intacct has elegantly solved our multi-location issues as a group managing multiple restaurant brands with multiple locations each.
Top-Level Reporting and Consolidations That Save Time
What do you like best about the product?
Top Level entity reporting and consolidations allow for efficient reporting and time savings across the business
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult setting up Management Accounts Reports with Account Groups but once set up you do not have to do this again

Reduced our management accounts reporting from 8 to 5 working days
