How AWS can help your mission
Customer experience
In response to the Executive Order on Transforming Federal Customer Experience and Service Delivery to Rebuild Trust in Government, transformation of customer experience of citizen and business services is a priority for government agencies. Thirteen federal agencies, including the Departments of State, Treasury, Health and Human Services, Veterans Affairs, Social Security Administration, and others, are required to take action to prioritize customer life experience initiatives. AWS identified three key areas for organizations to improve their customer experience: application modernization, real-time constituent response, and enterprise data platforms. Drawing on the experience of Amazon.com in all of these areas, we provide solutions and services to help our federal customers advance in these areas as well.

Payments integrity
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) estimated that fraud and improper payments increased nearly 30 percent during the COVID-19 pandemic—driven in part by the availability of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans and unemployment assistance. The newest announcement regarding student loan forgiveness could lead to fraudulent claims, as well. The Payment Integrity Information Act 2019 provides comprehensive legislation on insuring proper payments and disbursement management.
We based the AWS payments integrity solutions design on our experience fighting fraud across our online businesses while continuing to deliver positive customer experience. Leverage these solutions to reduce intensive and fraud-prone situations, and increase speed and accuracy of payment processing.
