Appgate SDP's paid version comes with a 15-day Free Trial. Appgate SDP's paid version includes a 25-user license and should be deployed as a single standalone SDP appliance. Hourly and Annual subscriptions of this product are available in the AWS Marketplace. Annual subscriptions provide a 10 percent savings compared to running the same product hourly for extended periods. What do you like best about the product?

This is one of the best VPNs that I have seen so far. It's easy to connect and provides a variety of site we can conenct to. Due to this I have been using it on a daily basis. I almost always keep it connected so that I don't have to worry about privacy of my laptop. This VPN definitely provides one of the best support.

What do you dislike about the product?

At one time, when I just started using Appgate, it was causing problems with my home wi-fi. Internet wasn't working when I connected to AppGate. At that time, I had to contact the support team to get it fixed. Although it happens sometimes with other VPNs as well, so it's not the fault of AppGate.
One more thing, sometimes if even one of the VPN site is not working, at that time, some of the websites don't work properly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to connect to multiple sites at once and still working efficiently. These days, we never know which site is good or harmful and might pose a security threat. Thus, a need of a good VPN which can prevent access to dangerous websites is always there.

The control over the entire network, the easy setup and management, the easy-to-use client. The headless client is a powerful tool

It is not disliked, but he could be better if they provided more pre-build dashboards for logs. And add more information about it

Giving users access only to what they need and nothing more is known as the "principle of least privilege." With AppGate, we ensure that users, applications, or systems are granted the minimum level of access needed to perform their tasks, thereby reducing the risk of potential security breaches or misuse.

The platform is reliable and consistent, so you know what to expect every time you use it. It’s also very stable, with minimal downtime, which means your security is always on. Overall, Appgate SDP is a solid choice for any organization wanting to implement a zero trust security framework without any hassle.

No complains after 3 years of use. I don't have anything to dislike

We are using Appgate SDP as our primary VPN solution for end users as well as B2B solution for connectivity to our customers.

What do you like best about the product?

Rackspace uses App Gate SDP to connect to VPN and I find it really quick and useful to login the addtional feature introduced to match the code helps provide double level security

What do you dislike about the product?

Last minth we had some issues with AppGate not connecting the issues were frequent and affected our work as we were not able to access our internal tools and portals. Think this issue needs to be addressed.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Appgate to connect to VPN and it provides a secure gateway to connect with internal tools and portals. This keeps data privacy and prevents data breach by illegal elements.
