    Amazon Machine Image (AMI)

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Usage instructions

Launch the instance into a public subnet within your VPC. Take note of the public IP address and DNS address. The default security groups for the Marketplace Image allows public web access, so you should be able to connect with your browser to:

Where the above addresses are noted from the EC2 Manager in the AWS Console, while viewing the instance.

If you would like to connect to the command line interface, connect to the public IP of your instance with an SSH client. Authentication must be done for user "ec2-user" with the private key the EC2 instance was launched with. Check the instance information in the AWS Console to find said key pair.
