Tango ARM Binary Translator on AWS Ubuntu (ARM64)

     Info

    Overview

Tango is a binary translation system for GNU/Linux and Android which allows unmodified 32-bit ARM programs to run on 64-bit only ARM processors. This AMI pre-integrates Tango translator on AWS Ubuntu and serves as a standard Tango reference integration platform. By launching an EC2 instance, one can quickly run and evaluate Tango translator in Linux/Ubuntu environment. Because AWS ARM64 server supports both 32bit and 64bit, one can also turn on/off Tango translator to evaluate translator performance effectively. Android container (Redroid) is pre-integrated for quick Android-in-the-cloud demo.

    Highlights

    • Quick and easy evaluation of Tango ARM binary translator
    • Android container (Redroid) is pre-integrated for quick Android-in-the-cloud demo
    • Rich Ubuntu environment for usability, compatibility and performance evaluations
