Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

You choose between two contract options for Q-Sensei Logs. Both let you index up to 5 GB of log data per day within a single deployment. The dimensions differ only by how long your data stays available. Q-Sensei Logs - 14 (GB) keeps data for 14 days. Q-Sensei Logs - 30 (GB) keeps data for 30 days. Pricing scales with retention length, so you select based on how far back you need to query. Both are fully managed and hosted in AWS.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each contract indexes up to 5 GB of event data per day within one deployment. This is a set daily indexing limit, not a burst allowance. If your log volume grows past 5 GB per day, you need to upgrade your data package. Monitor usage through the built-in application health checks to plan ahead.
Retention sets how many days of indexed log data stay available to search and analyze. Q-Sensei Logs - 14 (GB) keeps 14 days of history. Q-Sensei Logs - 30 (GB) keeps 30 days. Once data ages past your retention window, it is no longer queryable. Choose based on how far back your investigations reach.
Each contract covers one deployment that runs as a fully managed service hosted in AWS. You can add users and assign access rights, with up to 100 alerts per user. Data-at-rest and data-in-transit encryption are supported. Both retention options carry these same capabilities.
