Overview
FortiMail is the ideal security complement to an organization's existing deployment of Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 or G-Suite. It offers a complete Secure Email Gateway (SEG) solution with a broad spectrum of top-rated security capabilities to provide a multi-layered approach to detect and prevent inbound attacks, including spam, viruses and advanced, zero-day attacks, plus address outbound content and compliance risks from data loss or business email compromise.
Available in the AWS Marketplace, the virtualized FortiMail solution can scale to meet the needs of any size organization, from small to medium-sized businesses (SMB) to large enterprises, government agencies or educational institutions. Flexible deployment options including physical or virtual appliances and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) are also available.
With zero impact on the network or message traffic flow, FortiMail complements the existing, native security features of Exchange, Office 365 or G-Suite to further bolster efficacy and improve an organization's security posture. Usage instructions
After deploying the instance, click on Manage in AWS Console to see the running instance and public DNS address to continue the configuration of the FortiMail-VM. Connect to the secured Web UI via the public DNS address: https://<public DNS address>/admin. For any CLI configuration/settings, SSH is required to log into the CLI. Default login credentials are with a username of admin and the AWS Instance ID value as the password.

What do you like best about the product?
FortiMail provides thorough email protection, effectively guarding against spam, phishing, malware, and impersonation threats. Its integration with FortiSandbox and FortiGuard Labs greatly improves threat detection capabilities. I also value the detailed policy controls and the seamless integration with the Fortinet Security Fabric, which offers visibility across various threat vectors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the system for the first time can be challenging, particularly for teams that lack extensive experience with mail flow or the Fortinet CLI. Although the GUI offers robust features, certain areas appear dated and would benefit from enhancements to improve usability. Additionally, the reporting options could be made more flexible to better suit different needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up the system for the first time can be challenging, particularly for teams that lack extensive experience with mail flow or the Fortinet CLI. Although the graphical user interface offers robust features, certain areas appear somewhat outdated and would benefit from enhancements to improve usability. What do you like best about the product?
Fortiguard integration. It has alot of capability. Sandboxing is included also.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup is poorly documented. Documentation needs to be updated for Fortimail cloud. Although support is very good for this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fortimail provides email security. Protects from SPAM and phish attacks as well as providing malware protection and secure email capability.

On the Cloud platform, there are certain instability issues, as one does not have full control over the tool, and you rely heavily on the Fortimail cloud's support, which means certain functions are not available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Detailed inspection of email, attachments as well as heuristic analysis for email detection. Additionally, we can analyze images, URLs, discard attachments by extension or regular expressions.

If you have a Fortinet base infrastructure Fortimail complete SecureFabric and provide us cyber intelligence to company security professionals. Frotimail is also a very useful tool easy to manage and use for deployment

There is no negative feature I remember that. fortimail is price performance tool If you don't have huge budget and want to solve mail protection problem. Fortimail is an alternative
