ANOW! Observe Roller Coaster Ride is a cyber-physical demonstration that connects AWS Marketplace events with real-world action to showcase modern observability. When a customer purchases the offering, AWS Marketplace events trigger a cloud-native, event-driven backend that starts a physical roller-coaster ride via a Raspberry Pi controller. During the ride, sensors capture operational telemetry such as speed, lap count, and timing. These metrics and logs are collected at the edge and transmitted using the OpenTelemetry Protocol (OTLP) to an ANOW!
