TagOps automates AWS resource tagging with human-readable rules, helping cloud, security, and FinOps teams enforce consistent tags and sustain over 90% compliance without manual work.
TagOps is a purpose-built AWS tagging automation platform that connects to your AWS accounts, discovers untagged and poorly tagged resources, and applies consistent tags based on simple, human-readable rules.
Instead of chasing spreadsheets and Slack reminders, teams define how they describe their environment (for example: environment, owner, data sensitivity, cost center), and TagOps continuously enforces those tags as the environment changes.
Highlights
TagOps discovers untagged and poorly tagged resources, then applies and maintains consistent tags automatically for both existing and newly created resources.
TagOps enforces tag immutability and auto-restore, so cost allocation, guardrails, and ABAC policies can safely rely on tags without being broken by drift or manual changes.
TagOps continuously monitors tag coverage and drift, surfaces issues with simple views, and helps teams reach and sustain high tag compliance across all AWS accounts.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
TagOps uses a single usage-based dimension: the number of AWS accounts you connect. You are billed hourly, based on how many AWS accounts are linked to the platform at a given time. Pricing scales directly with account count, so your cost grows or shrinks as you add or remove connected accounts. There are no separate tiers for features or resource volume. The account count is the only metered unit that drives your bill.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one AWS account for billing purposes?
One unit is one AWS account you connect to TagOps. You link accounts using an IAM role deployed through a CloudFormation template, so no API keys are needed. Each connected account counts as one billable unit, regardless of how many resources or regions that account contains.
Am I charged for an AWS account after I disconnect it?
You are billed hourly per connected AWS account. When you remove an account, it stops counting toward your bill for the hours after removal. Cost tracks the number of accounts linked at each point in time, so adding or removing accounts changes your charges accordingly.
Does connecting more regions or resources within one account increase my cost?
No. Billing is driven only by the number of connected AWS accounts. Scanning multiple regions, monitoring more AWS services, or tagging more resources within an account does not add units. One account remains one billable unit regardless of its size or region coverage.
