GigaOps Patch Guard keeps your Ubuntu 18.04 workloads secure and compliant long after Canonicals official end-of-life. Built by Gigabits, Patch Guard provides ongoing vulnerability management and compliance tooling for organizations that cannot migrate immediately.

Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for this hardened Ubuntu 18 image, billed per running EC2 instance. There are no tiers or plans to choose from. Instead, the price attaches to the EC2 instance type you launch. The table lists hundreds of instance types across general purpose, compute, memory, storage, GPU, and high-performance families. Larger instances with more CPU, memory, or accelerators carry a higher hourly rate. Your cost scales with how many instances you run and how long they stay running. Software charges are separate from standard AWS infrastructure fees.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You are billed for each running EC2 instance, per hour, at the rate tied to its instance type. One hour equals one running instance for one clock hour. Partial hours may round per AWS metering. Running multiple instances bills each one separately at its own rate.
The hourly software charge applies only while an instance runs. Stopped or paused instances do not accrue software charges. Underlying AWS fees, such as storage for the attached volume, may still apply while an instance is stopped, but those are separate from this software rate.
Each instance type has its own hourly rate. Types with more CPU, memory, or accelerators sit in the higher rate range. The image itself is the same across all types; the rate reflects the EC2 instance family you select. Your total scales with type, count, and running time.
