Duo Network Gateway: provide VPN-less remote access to private applications hosted on-premises or in multi-cloud environments while enforcing zero trust security principles. Enable secure, seamless SSO access to internal web applications (HTTPS) and servers via SSH, RDP, and SMB.
Endpoint Agent Verification: Limit device access to applications based on presence of an endpoint protection product (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Cisco Secure Endpoint, etc.).

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Cisco Duo allows me to verify my identity on different platforms and devices I have, which makes it convenient to do that on my personal device. It makes it valuable because I can access the sensitive information I need without having to go through other channels or apps. Plus, the initial setup was extremely easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing.

Cisco Duo lets me verify my identity easily and access sensitive information, making it convenient across different platforms and personal devices.

It’s easy to use and offers several verification options.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that it relies on a phone for verification. What happens if my phone is broken or lost? Just a suggestion: maybe an email address could be added as an alternative verification option.

What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Cisco Duo is to detect network-based threats.
There is one situation where malware is downloaded via a link, and Cisco Duo has blocked this URL, demonstrating how I use Cisco Duo as a detector for network-based threats.
We can correlate Cisco Duo with other data sources such as cloud and Azure , which represents another interesting scenario about how I use Cisco Duo.
What is most valuable?
The best feature Cisco Duo offers is its simplicity.
The interface is what makes Cisco Duo simple for me.
Cisco Duo has positively impacted my organization as we can analyze the logs to detect threats.
Analyzing logs and detecting threats with Cisco Duo helps customers gain confidence in our company, showing the positive effects it has had on my organization.
What needs improvement?
Cisco Duo could be improved with more interesting rules or correlation rules between all the data sources such as Windows and Azure .
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Cisco Duo for six months.
What other advice do I have?
I have not yet implemented Cisco Duo's end-to-end phishing resistance with capabilities such as proximity verification to strengthen my organization's ability to defend against modern phishing and identity-based attacks.
There are no other improvements needed with Cisco Duo that we have not discussed. I would rate this product an 8.

What makes Cisco Duo stand out is simple login for users + strong identity security for organizations. It’s designed so security doesn’t slow people down.
What do you dislike about the product?
Duo provides basic logs and reports, but advanced analytics or security insights are limited, so companies sometimes export the data to external SIEM tools for deeper analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cisco Duo solves problems related to identity security, password weaknesses, phishing attacks, and remote access risks, while benefiting users by providing safer logins, easier access to applications, and better protection for company data.
