With Jitsi Meet, you can host high-quality virtual meetings while maintaining full control over infrastructure, data, and compliance all within your own AWS environment.
Our pre-configured AMI enables rapid deployment and seamless operation of Jitsi Meet, optimized for up to 100 concurrent users. The deployment includes a single-server setup with Jitsi Meet and Jitsi Video Bridge (JVB) installed, and is bundled with an AWS CloudWatch monitoring dashboard in addition to core Jitsi components.

Dimensions summary
You pay an hourly software fee tied to the EC2 instance size you launch. The eight dimensions map to specific instance types across two families: t3/t3a (general purpose) and c5/c5a (compute optimized), each in xlarge and 2xlarge sizes. Larger instances support more concurrent users, so your fee scales with the capacity you choose. This hourly fee covers Meetrix's pre-configured software and support only. AWS bills the EC2 instance, storage, and data transfer separately. Pick the instance that matches your peak call size to control cost.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Instance size maps to call capacity. A 2 vCPU / 4GB machine handles small teams. Past 100 concurrent users, you move to a 4 vCPU / 8GB instance. An 8 vCPU / 16GB instance supports several hundred users. Match the instance to your busiest meeting hour.
The hourly software fee accrues whenever the instance runs, including idle periods. The base signalling server needs to stay up for scheduling even between calls. AWS also bills the running EC2 instance separately. To stop both charges, you must stop the instance entirely.
Recording runs on its own separate instance, not alongside the meeting server. That recorder needs at least 8GB RAM, which rules out smaller instances. It means a second EC2 bill plus storage for the recordings. One recorder instance handles one meeting at a time.

Jitsi Meet 100 concurrent user video conferencing setup
The cloudformation script will deploy Jitsi Meet and Jitsi Video Bridge in a single server. This script is using IAM role permission to push metrics to cloudwatch
CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."

Usage instructions
Click the "View Purchase Options" button. After that, you will need to accept the terms and conditions. Click on "Accept Terms" to proceed. Please wait for a few minutes while the processing takes place. Once it's completed, click on "Continue to Configuration". Select your preferred region in "Configure this software" page and click "Continue to Launch" button. From the "Choose Action" dropdown menu, select "Launch CloudFormation", and then click "Launch". Fill the data and continue to deploy the product.
Access the application via a browser at http://<domain-name>. To generate SSL certificates first point dns to server, login to the instance and run certbot --nginx. To ssh, use port 22 and the username 'ubuntu'. Admin email is required for SSL generation. IAM Role is set up and configured with the necessary permissions to assume the role for the meet service. IAM policy assigned to instances for push metrics to cloudwatch dashboard.

Good configuration, but I would like to be able to get lighter machines, I want to use it for 20 people and a t3.xlarge is too big for my use...
