Overview
Last9 is the preferred single pane of observability for Logs, Traces, and Metrics, built for modern engineering teams and high cardinality environments.
- OpenTelemetry native, Cloud Native, Prometheus compatible, with support for 100+ integrations
- Simple pricing model with a predictable "pay for what you use" plan, no per host or per user billing
Application developers, infrastructure engineers, DevOps & SREs, and business users send their Logs, Traces, and Metrics to Last9's telemetry data platform to monitor their services and systems and run alerting with anomaly algorithms for changes in patterns and behavior.
Users are provided a Control Plane, as a first-class developer experience, to manage their telemetry data, its lifecycle, and its associated costs. Pre-Ingestion Workflows to filter, drop, and enrich data even before it's stored don't require instrumentation or code changes and also enable engineering teams to not sacrifice visibility for cost optimizations. With Last9 built for high cardinality in mind - a generous 20M active time series per metric per day is supported, and tools like Cardinality Explorer & Streaming Aggregations allow identifying and handling telemetry with large cardinality.
With correlated telemetry, Last9's native explorer for Logs, Traces, and Metrics empowers users to quickly debug issues and not change context by allowing them to jump between telemetry data, teams have the flexibility to use any tool that they're comfortable with - either the embedded Grafana dashboard that Last9 comes with, or use Last9 as a data source for their preferred visualization tool.
Organizations can choose between a SaaS or a BYOC/on-prem deployment model. Last9 is available on both AWS and GCP marketplaces.
Customers include Replit, Disney+ Hotstar, Clevertap, Circle, Probo, and Quickwork.
Backed by Sequoia India and Better Capital, along with a handful of prominent angels and advisors from Hashicorp, Sendbird, GoJek, Razaorpay, and more.

Customer reviews
Great, the team is very helpful in onboarding
I would also appreciate easy way to give a summarized note of the issue on email so that one understands what is the issue without opening dashboard
Best product with best team!
Last9 was kind of our saviour as it is so easy to set up and team is always a message away! They have guided us from the start with such patience and candidness that we knew we made the right choice.
All the log, traces, and dashboards give us immense confidence and have helped us identify and fix issues with ease. Every detail is noted and never lost and hence we have significant confidence to operate at scale.
We use it very frequently !
Intuitive and easy to access dashboard improved observability
Feedback on Last9.io
Great Product for SREs out here for Root Cause Analysis
2. Also the UX is very intuitive for some complicated screens
3. Templates for basic and advanced dashboards are really great for newbies, who are new to these things
4. Amazing support from Internal Team (Prathamesh and Aniket)
5. As you have integrated Grafana Dashboard hence learning curve is reduced and hence it is quite easy to create dashboards.
6. Would like to address cardinality explorer is a key feature as well, I can see which metrics are busy and are being used
There are many interesting features provided like macros, dropping data, forwarding data are nice.
2. Works fluent in high speed internet but can take lot of time loading log dashboards or dashboards with large data in slow data conn
3. I receive alerts right 5mins after the incident or error has occured and I couldn't find the settings how can I make them instantaneous (I can see that data reaches to last9 very quickly but did not understand how to configure those as per my use case)
4. At some places I felt that documentation is outdated (AWS Cloudwatch Metric Stream)
5. Some of the dashboards cannot be imported to Alert manager because of some issues with the variables (APM dashboards)
6. Scheduled search cannot be categorized where I want to search (it search the entire data)
Can be effectively used to monitoring large systems
Query large data
Whenever my senior asks me why this error was caused, I can go look back and see that were the apis being called at that very moment and logs status at the same time simultaneously and hence I am able to understand what was the state of our system at that time. (Really helps a lot)
