Observability platform with unmatched support and flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
What I value most about Last9 is that it truly feels worth the price we are paying. Their pay-for-what-you-use model is transparent and they even worked with us to personalize the experience and bring costs down to a level that suited our needs. The team went above and beyond by staying in touch with us every day during setup and optimization. That level of support is rare, and it really helped us adopt the platform smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s honestly not much to dislike, but if I had to pick one thing, it would be that because Last9 is evolving so quickly, sometimes it takes a little time to catch up with all the new features. That said, their team is very responsive and helps us navigate any changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Last9 is helping us simplify observability without the overhead of managing complex infrastructure. Before monitoring and troubleshooting issues meant juggling multiple tools and high costs. With Last9, we get a clear, consolidated view of our systems while only paying for what we actually use. Their platform makes it easier to detect and resolve issues faster, which directly improves reliability for our end users. On top of that, the team’s close support has made adoption seamless and allowed us to focus more on building rather than firefighting.
Very helpful to understand the flow and debug
What do you like best about the product?
What I really like is how easy it was to get started — the implementation was way smoother than I expected. It plugged into our existing stack without much fuss, so I could actually start using it instead of spending weeks setting it up. I use it pretty regularly, almost daily, because it gives me a quick read on reliability and highlights the issues that actually matter to users. The SLO-first approach makes it super clear what’s important, and the customer support team has been really responsive whenever I’ve had doubts — I’ve always gotten clear answers fast. Overall, it feels like a developer-friendly tool that makes my life simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only tricky part for me was the learning curve in the beginning. Some of the concepts around SLOs felt a little overwhelming, and I had to spend extra time figuring out the best way to use them for our setup. I also think the docs could use more hands-on examples, which would’ve made implementation even easier. I use it pretty often now, but early on, I found myself not knowing which view to check for certain questions. Support helped when I reached out, but I think a bit more in-product guidance would go a long way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Last9, it always felt like we were drowning in metrics and alerts but didn’t really know which ones mattered. Last9 solves that by focusing on SLOs, so instead of chasing random CPU spikes or noise from dashboards, I know exactly which issues affect users. It’s also helping us cut down on firefighting — I spend less time debugging blind and more time building features, because I can quickly see which service is unhealthy and why. Another big benefit is reliability planning: it highlights weak spots in our system before they turn into outages, which honestly reduces a lot of stress for me as a developer.
How last9 is Saving hours of Debugging Time.
What do you like best about the product?
I am a Associate Developer and need more context on product to enhance my learning. Last9 has been a great helping tool to achieve that where i can see all the flows in multiple microservices, filter them by tima and log levels. I have been using last9 almost daily. It is easy to integrate and is one time process. once integrated i can just add a log in my codebase and i can track the flow in real-time. it also has rehydration that is very helpful and makes it very easy to get logs for a certain time range. Query and send to slack features are also very useful for solving customer support tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tail logs function is something i have never used. For 20+ microservices, its hard analyse all the logs coming in real time.
Other than that, last9 do what it should do, Give structured logs.
Other than that, last9 do what it should do, Give structured logs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Last9 is providing a structured way to analyse and filter logs for 20+ microservices, which otherwise would need to be checked manually in AWS or server logs.
Last9: Scalable observability made simple
What do you like best about the product?
Last9 makes handling high-cardinality data effortless, with all telemetry in one clean, unified view.
What do you dislike about the product?
The feature set is powerful, but the initial learning curve can feel steep without more guided onboarding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Last9 helps us cut through observability chaos by unifying metrics, logs, and traces—saving both debugging time and infrastructure costs.
Best way to access logs possible.
What do you like best about the product?
Traces are there filters are great, we can share logs easily. Searching and navigating through logs is easier through Last9.
What do you dislike about the product?
I donot dislike anything in Last9, so far it is great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To check logs faster, and to navigate through them and find the root cause at the ealiest.
Using last9 last six months and searching for logs is easier, tracing method is very helpful
What do you like best about the product?
Their Tracing feature, request search filter and MCP server
What do you dislike about the product?

Cost-effective observability with fast support and growing features
What do you like best about the product?
We started using the Log Analytics feature in the Last9 Levitate platform, and the team has been consistently adding capabilities that quickly addressed our needs. I appreciate the transparency into their product roadmap, their availability for quick and responsive support, and the cost-effectiveness of the platform. The diverse integration options also make it very easy to get started without heavy setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since the Log Analytics feature is still relatively new, it currently lacks some of the advanced functionality that larger vendors offer. However, with the pace at which Last9 is building, I believe it can soon reach feature parity while maintaining a much more cost-efficient approach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Last9 is helping us handle log analytics at scale without the cost overhead. With Levitate, we can ingest, store, and query logs from large, distributed systems efficiently. The ability to scale log analytics seamlessly while keeping performance consistent has been a big win.

Seamless experience with Last9
What do you like best about the product?
Seamless integration with our applications and the extensible, very good support from last9.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though there is nothing to be disliked however there is scope of improvement that last9 team can take up to compete other tools like NewRelic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Last9 giving us a complete package of logging, monitoring and alerting tool across our critical systems. It is very helpful as an organisation having last9 platform integrated which is solving lot of problems and enabling us to mitigate downtimes and quicker recovery during application outages.
Reliable Observability with a Smooth Learning Curve and Room for UI Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
As a developer in the fintech space, I really appreciate how easy Last9 is to use. The learning curve is minimal — you don’t need to dig through heavy documentation just to get started. The user interface is clean and intuitive, which makes it easy to filter logs, view metrics, and understand system behavior at a glance.
In terms of implementation, it was fairly straightforward to integrate Last9 into our existing observability stack. The platform supports seamless integration with multiple environments and services, which is a big plus in a microservices-heavy architecture like ours.
I use Last9 almost daily, especially during incident investigation or performance monitoring. The real-time analytics and visualizations are extremely valuable for identifying anomalies quickly and reducing mean time to resolution (MTTR).

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that can be frustrating is the occasional UI lag or unresponsiveness. Sometimes, the dashboard doesn’t reflect updates properly unless you do a hard refresh or switch screens, which suggests that cache handling might not be optimal. This can slow things down when you're in the middle of troubleshooting an issue.
Also, while the platform has a good range of features, there’s still room for enhancement around session management and auto-refresh stability to improve the overall experience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Last9 helps me primarily with debugging logs and understanding the flow of execution across services. In a complex fintech environment with many microservices, tracing issues end-to-end can be challenging. Last9 simplifies this by providing centralized log access with powerful filtering and visualization tools. This makes it much easier to pinpoint where something went wrong and understand the upstream/downstream impact, ultimately speeding up root cause analysis and reducing downtime.
