Each unit maps to one seat assigned to a team member. When you add or grant access to a member, you assign one seat. If a seat sits unused, adding a new member costs nothing. When seats run out, you purchase more before assigning them.
Removing a member leaves that seat open. You can fill it by adding a new member or reassigning it to others at no extra charge. To reduce your bill, you remove an unused seat in the Billing screen. Your unit count drives the total.
You can add seats at any time. When you increase capacity, you are charged a prorated amount. This accounts for what you already paid and the time left in your term. The total reflects your unit count over the contract period.
