groundcover delivers complete, full-fidelity observability built for modern engineering teams running AI workloads at scale all without the cost, performance, or data privacy tradeoffs of legacy SaaS platforms. Built for teams running AWS cloud-native stacks like EKS, groundcover works across any Kubernetes flavor, any Linux distribution, both Graviton ARM and x86 EC2 instances, and integrates natively with CloudWatch metrics and logs.
groundcover deploys entirely inside your own AWS VPC through a unique Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) architecture. Your telemetry never leaves your environment, eliminating the hard tradeoffs between cost and coverage that come with traditional observability vendors. Store every log, metric, trace, and event that matters while all kept private and secure within your AWS account, under your governance and compliance controls.
Full-fidelity telemetry. Zero instrumentation.
At the core of groundcover is an intelligent, adaptive eBPF sensor that collects and processes telemetry directly at the edge with no code changes, no SDKs, no manual instrumentation required. Coverage is automatic across your entire stack, with native support for OpenTelemetry and open standards so you stay in control of your data and avoid vendor lock-in.
Built for engineers and agents alike.
groundcover is designed as one agentic platform, operable, shareable, and delegatable across your entire team including human engineers and AI agents working side by side. Whether you're debugging a production incident, investigating an AI workload anomaly, or empowering autonomous agents to triage and resolve issues, groundcover gives every operator the same complete view.
groundcover is SOC type-2 and ISO-27001 compliant.
BYOC architecture : deployed inside your VPC so your data stays within your AWS account, delivering complete observability on your terms with predictable pricing based on hosts, not data ingestion. Includes Logs, Metrics, and Traces for visibility into your infrastructure, applications, and agentic workflows.
eBPF-powered sensors & open standards : full-stack visibility with zero instrumentation overhead and native OpenTelemetry support, with no proprietary lock-in.
Agent-ready platform : built for both human and AI operators from day one, and powered by Amazon Bedrock running inside your AWS account. AI queries, production logs, and traces never leave your environment.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You choose from three plans, all billed per host per month over a contract term. A host is any Kubernetes or Linux machine actively monitored, of any size. You pay based on the average number of monitored hosts each month, not on data volume or peak usage. The plans build on each other. The Pro Plan covers teams of all sizes. The Enterprise Plan adds reliability features for scale. The On-Premise Plan includes everything in Enterprise plus a self-hosted data plane, self-hosted UI, and isolated authentication for regulated or air-gapped environments. Pricing scales with your host count.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one host for billing?
A host is any Kubernetes node or Linux machine actively monitored by the groundcover sensor. Size and machine type do not matter; each counts as one host. Any node monitored for logs, metrics, traces, and events is billed the same way.
How is my monthly host count calculated if nodes scale up and down?
groundcover tracks monitored hosts in each environment and bills on the monthly average, not on peaks. Short-lived spikes during autoscaling do not inflate your bill. You pay for average host usage across the month, so temporary surges do not raise costs.
Does the per-host price change based on how much data I ingest?
No. Pricing is based only on the average number of monitored hosts each month. Data volume, ingestion rate, and retention do not affect the per-host license. You can adjust what you cover at any time, and cost tracks host count alone.
