Overview
Launchnodes CSM Node operation is easy and cost-effective using AWS. Run your CSM validator nodes in your AWS infrastructure while connecting to Launchnodes' MEV-enabled Beacon and Execution layer clients. This removes the technical complexity and cost barrier associated with becoming a Lido Community Staking Module (CSM) node operator. Launchnodes Beacon nodes run MEV Boost and are connected to profitable, non-censoring relays. This setup streamlines node operation, maximizes staking rewards, and supports Lido's goal of decentralizing Ethereum staking. The Lido Community Staking Module allows individual validators and node operators to contribute directly to the Lido network. Launchnodes' CSM solution addresses high cost and complexity challenges through an easy-to-use UI that removes the need for blockchain expertise or command-line interface (CLI). You deploy validator nodes in your own AWS account, giving you exclusive access and control, while Launchnodes manages high-performance execution and consensus clients.

Dimensions summary
You pay by container hours, so billing tracks the actual time your CSM node software runs. This usage-based model has one dimension and no fixed tiers or instance sizes to choose from. Charges accrue continuously while the container operates and stop when you shut it down. The node runs in your own AWS account, so AWS infrastructure costs are separate from this hourly software charge. You can scale from one to twenty nodes based on your needs, and each running node adds to your total container hours.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
One container hour is one hour that your CSM node software runs in a container on your AWS infrastructure. Billing counts each running node's active time. If you run more than one node, each node's hours add to your total. Charges stop when you shut the container down.
Software charges accrue only while the container runs. When you shut down or safely delete your stack, container-hour charges stop. Underlying AWS resources you keep, such as storage, may still incur separate AWS fees. The software meter tracks running time only.
No. The container-hour charge covers the CSM node software only. The node runs in your own AWS account, so you pay AWS separately for the compute, storage, and other resources it uses. Running the node yourself gives you exclusive access and control over that infrastructure.
