Ethereum Validator Node - Solo Staking with a simple user interface
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by container hours, so billing tracks the time your validator node software runs. This is usage-based pricing with a single dimension: the longer your node stays operational, the more hours you accrue. There are no tiers or fixed commitments. The software runs on your own AWS account and infrastructure, so you also carry the underlying AWS compute costs separately. Charges scale directly with how long you keep the node running.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one container hour cover for this validator node?
One container hour covers each hour the validator node software runs on your AWS instance. This includes the staking user interface and node management tools. Billing tracks the time the software is active, counted hour by hour while your node stays operational.
Am I charged when I stop or delete my node stack?
Software container hours accrue only while the node runs. If you safely delete your stack or shut it down, container-hour charges stop. Underlying AWS compute and storage may still apply separately until you remove those resources through your AWS account.
Do the container-hour charges include the underlying AWS infrastructure cost?
No. The container-hour charge covers the software licence only. The node runs on your own AWS account and infrastructure, so you pay AWS separately for the compute instance, storage, and related resources. These appear on your AWS bill.

Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.

I've been a customer since 2021 and while the validation service is good and as advertised, I'm most pleased with the helpful support team at LaunchNodes. Every time I have an issue they're willing to get on a Zoom to help me resolve it. If only every company had such customer service. Well done, LaunchNodes team, and thank you as always.

Review from a verified AWS customer
The Launchnodes team offers an exceptional hosting service for all Ethereum Validators that want to solo stake to enhance network security, but don't want to or simply cannot invest in a local setup. In 3 years the team has provided professional, courteous and very timely support. I'm very happy with this product, and i have recommended it to all my friends. Looking forward to renewing this gem of a no-hassle subscription for years to come.

Excellent staking SaaS through thick and thin

I've been a happy customer since Sep 2022 and now plan to stay with this service indefinitely.
Launchnodes' service and support are exceptional. They helped me set up my node and took every single precaution to ensure that the service was up the right way and without a glitch. With the service running, Launchnode updates their software with patches roughly once every 2 months. These updates are communicated clearly and with plenty of advance notice so that i can install them myself - and if I have any issues, their support team is standing by to help.
What's even more impressive however was the professionalism with which Launchnodes handled a couple of service outages recently. The validator went down, started missing attestations, and suffering penalties. In both cases, Launchnodes' engineers had a patch that resolved the fire within 2ish hours after I had notified them of the issues.
You can tell the most about a company and the quality of their SaaS based on how they handle adversity - Launchnodes have been exceptional so far, through good times and bad. Thank you, team.

Very Happy Customer

The Launchnodes team has provided me with excellent technical support for my Ethereum Validator pre and post merge. They are very quick to send out upgrade instructions (which you can do yourself). When hands-on technical assistance is needed they will schedule a zoom call and walk you through the process step by step. This is a fairly unique service that allows a person with some technical skills to operate their own Ethereum Validator. By using AWS 99.99% uptime is easy to achieve. You get all of the rewards earned by your Validator, get to see the technical underpinnings, and know that you are helping to operate and secure the Ethereum blockchain.
