Huron Rounding is a one-stop tool that helps your team build nurse engagement and align employee goals to organizational objectives. Using data, organizations can provide a best-in-class approach to building relationships and improving employee engagement.
In an increasingly challenging healthcare environment, organizations are investing in new ways to effectively retain and develop nurses. Nurse turnover is costly with damaging financial and care consequences. It is also highly preventable for organizations with strong employee engagement. Research shows that most nurses leave an organization because of a poor relationship with their manager. Organizations and its leaders need to understand how to improve culture and create an engaged nursing staff ready to lead the future of healthcare.
Rounding, the consistent practice of asking specific questions of nurses, provides a best-in-class approach to building relationships and improving employee engagement, loyalty and satisfaction. When supported by technology, organizations can use rounding to drive adoption of new processes, validate desired behaviors, and provide a standard platform to capture opportunities for reward and recognition of staff.
Huron Rounding is a one-stop tool that helps your team build nurse engagement and align employee goals to organizational objectives. Insights gained from rounding can be included in employee conversations, facilitating more effective feedback during coaching sessions.

Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract prices on a single dimension: the number of Nursing Units where Nurse Engagement Rounds will be performed. You pay based on how many nursing units you enroll. Cost scales directly with unit count, so adding more units increases the total. There are no separate tiers or add-ons to choose from. The rounding technology supports consistent staff and patient rounds across the units you cover.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one Nursing Unit for billing?
A Nursing Unit is a defined care area or ward where Nurse Engagement Rounds are performed. You are billed on the number of units you enroll, not on the number of nurses, patients, or rounds within each unit. Each enrolled unit counts as one billable unit.
What happens to my cost if I add or remove Nursing Units?
Cost scales directly with the number of Nursing Units you enroll. Adding units increases your total; removing units lowers it. Billing tracks the unit count you commit to, so the number of rounds performed within each unit does not change the price on its own.
Does the price cover both staff and patient rounding within each Nursing Unit?
The Nurse Engagement Rounds capability supports consistent rounds across your enrolled units. The technology helps validate staff behaviors and maintain quality of interactions. Since pricing is per Nursing Unit, the rounding activity within each enrolled unit is included in that unit's charge.
