Recruiting has become more accurate and consistently delivers verified, relevant candidates

    Reviewed on May 30, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Dice Tech Recruiting  is fetching the relevant candidates. When I search for candidates on Dice Tech Recruiting , they generally provide very solid and relevant search results.

    What is most valuable?

The best features Dice Tech Recruiting offers are that they clearly provide the visa status of the candidates, along with the contact details, years of experience, and the skills required—everything is there.

I find the visa status especially valuable for my recruiting process because it is very helpful in recruiting the right candidates. Dice Tech Recruiting has positively impacted my organization by increasing the number of chances we get from clients, and the number of profiles we share are more than 80% genuine with the required good experience.

    What needs improvement?

Most of the things I have used are already inbuilt in Dice Tech Recruiting, so it is a very perfect app to use. I would like to add that there must be an option for candidates submitting their applications on Dice Tech Recruiting to be verified for genuinity.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Dice Tech Recruiting for the last five years.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support for Dice Tech Recruiting is very helpful, very fast, and very responsive.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before Dice Tech Recruiting, I was using CareerBuilder, but I found Dice Tech Recruiting more relevant and accurate compared to other dashboards, so Dice Tech Recruiting is more compatible to go for.

    What was our ROI?

Since using Dice Tech Recruiting, I have seen a high ratio of getting closures and placements in comparison to submitting candidates.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing Dice Tech Recruiting, I evaluated other options such as Monster and CareerBuilder, but I found Dice Tech Recruiting to be the perfect one.

What other advice do I have?

Dice Tech Recruiting shares good technical people, and it has unique stats that provide us the best candidates available for the role we are searching for. My advice to others looking into using Dice Tech Recruiting is to please use the AI tool of Dice Tech Recruiting to get more relevant searches.

Dice Tech Recruiting is a very good platform to work with, and we are happy to use it. Regarding Dice Tech Recruiting's AI capabilities, I think its governance and security are very secure, and the details of candidates are very safe to submit. If we use the AI technology of Dice Tech Recruiting, it generally finds the most relevant candidates for a particular field or job. I would rate my overall experience with Dice Tech Recruiting as a 10 out of 10.

Boolean searches have transformed how I source niche tech talent and build strong hiring pipelines

    Reviewed on May 29, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I use Dice Tech Recruiting  in my day-to-day work for sourcing candidates and checking resumes according to the requirement, such as for a Java developer, Salesforce  lead developer, or front-end developer. I source candidates from here and identify qualified technology professionals for open positions. I use the Dice resume database, apply Boolean search, and use candidate filters to find candidates with specific skills and location preferences. I also use it for candidate outreach.

An example of how I use Dice Tech Recruiting  on a daily basis is sourcing candidates for open IT positions. I review job requirements, build Boolean strings, search the Dice resume database, search for candidates, and reach out to qualified candidates while maintaining a pipeline of potential hires. I use Dice filters such as skills, location, visa, experience, and availability to identify the most relevant candidates.

My day-to-day work with Dice Tech Recruiting involves reviewing new requirements, creating Boolean strings, sourcing candidates from the Dice database, screening resumes, reaching out to potential candidates, and submitting profiles to clients. I also track candidate responses and maintain a pipeline for current and future openings.

    What is most valuable?

The best features of Dice Tech Recruiting are the Boolean string, advanced filter, candidate alerts, and the sourcing tool. When I apply the Boolean string, I get the perfect searches. The advanced search capabilities stand out because they help me quickly find highly specialized technology professionals for difficult-to-fill positions. I would rate Dice Tech Recruiting an eight out of ten for technology because of its strong IT talent pool, powerful search functionalities, and efficiency in sourcing qualified candidates.

The Boolean string and advanced filters in Dice Tech Recruiting save time significantly. When I apply the Boolean string, they provide the perfect resume that matches the Boolean strings. Boolean strings and advanced filters help me reduce the time spent searching. They give me relevant profiles instead of manually searching hundreds of resumes. I target only the resumes that match the current exact skills, experience, and domain required for a role. For example, if I am recruiting for a senior developer, I may use a Boolean string containing "Java," "Spring Boot ," "microservices," and "AWS ." If I want candidates for the financial or banking domain, I use "financial," "banking," or "financial services," and the platform returns resumes of only those candidates who have those skills.

Dice Tech Recruiting has a positive impact on our organization by helping us source qualified technology candidates more efficiently. It has reduced the time spent searching for talent, improved the quality of candidates, and helped us fill specialized technical roles faster.

    What needs improvement?

Dice Tech Recruiting is a very effective platform for technology recruiting, but there are a few areas where it could be improved. I would appreciate seeing more advanced, AI-driven candidate matching so recruiters can identify qualified candidates faster. Improved profile accuracy and more frequent resume updates would also help ensure candidate information is current.

In addition to AI-powered matching, I would appreciate seeing more predictive insights built into the platform. For example, it would be helpful if Dice Tech Recruiting could identify candidates who are more likely to respond.

How are customer service and support?

I rate customer service five out of ten.

What other advice do I have?

I would suggest adding more features to Dice Tech Recruiting. For instance, if I have a requirement for a Java developer with Spring Boot , microservices, AWS , and banking service experience, I create it by combining skills and then apply filters for location and years of experience. Instead of reviewing hundreds of resumes, I can quickly focus on the most relevant candidates, which improves the overall experience.

Dice Tech Recruiting provides the most relevant capabilities. One thing I wish recruiters understood is how powerful Dice Tech Recruiting can be when you combine Boolean searches with advanced filters. Many recruiters rely only on keyword searches, but using a well-structured Boolean string can uncover highly qualified candidates who might otherwise be missed. I also believe the value of building pipelines is sometimes overlooked. Dice Tech Recruiting is not just useful for filling current openings; it is also a great tool for identifying and engaging candidates for future opportunities. By saving searches and monitoring candidates' activities, recruiters can respond much faster when new requirements come in.

My advice would be to take full advantage of the advanced search capabilities that Dice Tech Recruiting offers. Rather than relying only on basic keyword searches, investing time in building effective Boolean strings and using filters strategically can significantly improve candidate sourcing. Recruiters should use these tools because they are very helpful for reviewing candidates. I rated this product nine out of ten overall.

Targeted searches have consistently delivered qualified US IT consultants and faster role closures

    Reviewed on May 29, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My team primarily uses Dice Tech Recruiting  to find candidates for IT roles of different clients who look for IT consultants, mainly people working in the IT domain, and we use it to find candidates for the US geo.

Recently, one of my clients shared a project manager role with AI experience, and we found a good candidate through Dice Tech Recruiting , shared it with the client, who was selected, and we closed the role using Dice Tech Recruiting, which was useful.

We usually use Dice Tech Recruiting to get candidates who are in the US, and it helps us find candidates very easily in the tech domain, with the different filters providing good knowledge about the candidate, including their visa status, current location, and everything that really helps.

Since we have been using Dice Tech Recruiting for a long time, it positively impacts our organization by helping us close good candidates.

    What is most valuable?

The best feature Dice Tech Recruiting offers is putting in the correct Boolean search to get the right candidate, and the segregation it does since when the candidate is in the market and since when they have been looking for a new role really helps us determine if the candidate is seriously looking for a role or not.

The segregation feature in Dice Tech Recruiting helps our recruiting process by allowing us to find local candidates when clients require them, and it assists in identifying candidates of a particular visa status, such as only visa-independent candidates for specific roles.

Dice Tech Recruiting makes my work easier and more efficient, as the mismatch is very low due to using a Boolean search and all the different criteria, allowing me to find the right matching skills in a very short time, and most candidates who top our list after the search are those actively looking for new roles, making it easier for us to find candidates ready to join the client as soon as possible.

    What needs improvement?

Most of the features of Dice Tech Recruiting are good, and while I do not think anything is required, an option to find out if the profile has been posted by the employer or the candidate themselves would really help, as sometimes we do not receive the right clarity about whether the resume or details belong to the candidate or the employer.

I chose eight out of ten for Dice Tech Recruiting because everything is not perfect, and there is always a chance for improvement, such as providing more segregation and clarity on profiles that may not be genuine, for example, identifying if a candidate has submitted their profile multiple times, which would ease our job in finding the right candidates.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Dice Tech Recruiting for the last fourteen years, from the start of my job.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Dice Tech Recruiting is usually stable, although it has experienced outages once or twice, but overall there are no issues.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Dice Tech Recruiting's scalability can handle our organization's growth and increased demands, as there have been no issues despite initially starting as a very small company and now being a large one.

How are customer service and support?

Occasionally, my team needs to get in touch with customer support for Dice Tech Recruiting, and my experience has always been positive, with prompt responses and no issues.

I would rate the customer support of Dice Tech Recruiting as nine out of ten, as everything is all good.

    How was the initial setup?

My experience with pricing, setup costs, and licensing for Dice Tech Recruiting is okay, with no issues and no complaints.

    What about the implementation team?

I did not purchase Dice Tech Recruiting through the AWS Marketplace ; instead, we bought it directly through Dice.

    What was our ROI?

I have seen a great return on investment from using Dice Tech Recruiting, as it has helped us grow, and most closures happening are through Dice Tech Recruiting, indicating a positive ROI; I need to check exact metrics, but it is always in the positive.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I did not evaluate other options before choosing Dice Tech Recruiting.

What other advice do I have?

My advice for others looking into using Dice Tech Recruiting is to be very clear about what you are looking for and to utilize the maximum features available so you can find the right candidate in one go. I rated Dice Tech Recruiting eight out of ten overall.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

    Public Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Advanced filters have streamlined IT sourcing and deliver consistently relevant candidates

    Reviewed on May 29, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I use Dice Tech Recruiting  primarily to source candidates, with a focus on IT candidates, which I specifically find there.

I have utilized Dice Tech Recruiting  by employing a Boolean string to source profiles, benefiting greatly from its filtration advantages, as Dice Tech Recruiting has excellent filtration capabilities that allow me to filter out candidates effectively. The resumes provided there are of high quality, being updated frequently, and I can see a substantial amount of data when reviewing resumes, including work authorization and employment type categories, as well as specific consent information.

Regarding the screening process, I believe that Dice Tech Recruiting already has a predefined screening that is very efficient for selecting candidates, allowing me to directly deselect candidates I am not interested in and create a separate list for those. Additionally, I have noticed I can track visa statuses in the resumes, which Dice Tech Recruiting includes, and I can also view the last active date of resumes, along with relevant projects and technical questions, making the filtering of candidates straightforward.

On a daily basis, I utilize Dice Tech Recruiting by leveraging the Boolean search function, and I also take advantage of recent activity filters in resumes and a feature called Save Search, which alerts me when new profiles appear in the database. The accessibility of contact information is another common aspect I rely on, while Boolean searches combined with recent resume updates significantly aid me.

    What is most valuable?

Dice Tech Recruiting offers many features that I particularly appreciate, such as a specific resume database with active and passive candidates, the ability to see when a resume was last updated, and access to social accounts like LinkedIn and GitHub , along with the option to view the specific skill set my clients require.

Using Dice Tech Recruiting has saved me a significant amount of time in sourcing candidates, and while I cannot share specific metrics due to company policy, I know that my investment was low and my revenue was high on an annual basis.

    What needs improvement?

I think there should be an additional category for job function included in Dice Tech Recruiting, similar to LinkedIn, where I can select categories such as business development, IT, engineering, and management, to make it easier for me to categorize candidates instead of relying solely on Boolean strings.

I am currently seeing good results from Dice Tech Recruiting, although they are at a medium level right now, as while results exist, they are not precisely what I need. For many positions, the resumes for non-IT roles are not adequate, since Dice Tech Recruiting seems to have a better selection for IT candidates rather than a balanced array across all categories.

I believe that Dice Tech Recruiting should focus more on the non-IT and engineering categories, as the current offering for IT is well-optimized, allowing me to easily find IT candidates. However, I sometimes have to rely on other software such as Monster and LinkedIn for engineering roles because the resume count for non-IT is unsatisfactory.

I think there should be improved filtration options in Dice Tech Recruiting regarding companies I want to target, such as allowing users to enter competitor companies. Furthermore, when selecting a specific profile, there should be a related profile search feature that presents all similar profiles to enhance my search capabilities.

I chose an eight out of ten because I feel there are certain features I would like Dice Tech Recruiting to improve, particularly in their focus on engineering roles, given the wide market that includes not only IT but also management, financial analysts, and more.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Dice Tech Recruiting for more than three years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Dice Tech Recruiting is currently stable.

I cannot comment on the stability with certainty, as it depends on how it is utilized, but it appears to be very effective and adaptable to my organization's needs.

How are customer service and support?

I have not needed to access customer support for Dice Tech Recruiting because I have not experienced any complaints or issues during my use, finding the platform very easy to navigate.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I did not conduct any formal evaluation before choosing Dice Tech Recruiting; I simply tried it and found it to be a good fit, so I continued using it.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I cannot provide detailed information on pricing, setup costs, and licensing for Dice Tech Recruiting as those aspects are handled by the finance and management teams, but I have noticed that the pricing is nominal—neither too high nor too low.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I previously used Monster, Indeed, and other solutions before switching to Dice Tech Recruiting.

What other advice do I have?

Regarding the AI capabilities of Dice Tech Recruiting, I cannot comment much because AI does not always yield the best results, particularly for smaller roles, where it does perform well. However, human analysis can identify relevant keywords in resumes that AI may miss.

I would say its accuracy and reliability of output is average at best, as AI only operates based on algorithms, which means it does not fully comprehend the specific skills I need to evaluate in a profile. While it can scan resumes, it cannot grasp the nuances conveyed within them.

My advice for others considering using Dice Tech Recruiting is that if you are proficient with technology, you can easily recognize the differences between various tools and Dice Tech Recruiting's reporting. Every software has unique benefits, so depending on your business needs, Dice Tech Recruiting can be very useful.

I feel that my suggestions for improvement should be evaluated, as making these changes could elevate Dice Tech Recruiting to a higher level across all categories, rather than just being top in one area.

I found this interview to be good with no necessary changes, as the questions were relevant and appropriately centered on Dice Tech Recruiting software. My review rating for Dice Tech Recruiting is eight out of ten.

Targeted tech hiring has become faster and candidate evaluation is clear and efficient

    Reviewed on May 28, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Dice Tech Recruiting  is sourcing candidates specialized in IT recruitment, where I find good and genuine candidates specialized in software development fields. Dice Tech Recruiting  has also helped me with engineering recruitment, which I am currently doing in my organization. Dice Tech Recruiting is a good job portal in both areas, especially in the US.

In my day-to-day work, I use Dice Tech Recruiting by creating a Boolean string for specialized requirements. For example, when I receive a SRE engineer role, I first create a good Boolean string and search for candidates using filters. If a client demands US citizenship or a green card, Dice Tech Recruiting has facilities to filter candidates accordingly. I also use the experience level filter when a client demands more than 10 years of experience. These features have helped me find appropriate candidates on Dice Tech Recruiting.

Regarding my use case, Dice Tech Recruiting helps me find US citizens, as most candidates registering resumes on Dice Tech Recruiting are in the IT field. This helps me find appropriate resumes in my talent pool on time for my daily workflow.

    What is most valuable?

The best features that Dice Tech Recruiting offers are its interface, which helps me understand the level of experience in different tech stacks. For example, when finding a software engineer with Java as a backend development language and React and Node.js as frontend technologies, Dice Tech Recruiting's interface clearly shows that the candidate has three years of experience with Node.js and six or seven years of experience with Java. This helps me filter candidates to decide whom to call and whom not to call, saving my time.

The interface of Dice Tech Recruiting is superior compared to different job portals, as it clearly mentions basic candidate information such as name, email, phone number, level of experience, and most importantly, work authorization status, which helps me make informed decisions.

Dice Tech Recruiting saves our time significantly. In the interface, work authorization status is directly mentioned along with the candidate's years of experience, such as five or eight years, which is clearly displayed without needing to open a resume. This time-saving feature is invaluable.

    What needs improvement?

Currently, if you could add the ability to create Boolean strings within Dice Tech Recruiting, that would be beneficial. I currently create Boolean strings separately, but if you added a co-pilot that suggests Boolean strings, that would help me find industry-based candidates specialized in the areas my clients demand, especially in retail or aerospace. If there were a co-pilot or AI feature built-in that directly fetches candidates who already work in those specific industries, it would save our time significantly.

The main way Dice Tech Recruiting can be improved is by adding AI and building an industry-specific co-pilot that helps find candidates in particular industry areas. Apart from this, Dice Tech Recruiting is performing well, but adding this feature would be highly beneficial.

I feel Dice Tech Recruiting deserves this score because the one point I deducted is that AI co-pilot features are not built-in compared to different ATS or job portals, which would help create Boolean strings easily and save time. Additionally, if I could add similar job titles to my search, for example, when working on a Java developer role, filtering by just "Java developer" returns only 10-20 resumes, but if I could add similar titles such as software engineer, software developer, or J2EE developer, the results would be much higher and help me find good resumes. If you add these features to Dice Tech Recruiting, it would really help me and all recruiters.

Regarding Dice Tech Recruiting's AI capabilities, I believe that while accuracy and reliability may not be at 100 percent, they would definitely help with at least 80 to 90 percent accuracy. If I am creating a Boolean string manually, it takes a maximum of one minute. If I use a co-pilot, I can copy a job description and if Dice Tech Recruiting provides an AI chatbot, it could directly identify the main mandatory and preferred skills and create a simple Boolean string. By reviewing that Boolean string, I can remove unnecessary skill sets based on the client's specific needs.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    Dice Tech Recruiting is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I believe Dice Tech Recruiting's scalability is good, and they provide more proper profiles that we are looking for. It is easy to handle a significant amount of work data and users without compromising performance, so the scalability is excellent.

How are customer service and support?

The most important thing about customer support on Dice Tech Recruiting is that I have never needed to use it because it is that easy to use. I occasionally needed assistance when I had trouble logging in, but I simply emailed them and they resolved the issue immediately. Dice Tech Recruiting is user-friendly, and since I have not had to use customer support frequently, it is a positive thing. If you do not need customer support, it means the tool is working properly.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before choosing Dice Tech Recruiting, I evaluated Monster primarily, and I found that in terms of IT or software development technology resumes, Monster does not have as much database available compared to Dice Tech Recruiting.

    What was our ROI?

I do not discuss money saved in specific terms, but because Dice Tech Recruiting is expensive compared to different job portals, they are saving our time while also providing good and genuine profiles. If I place a candidate, it definitely converts into ROI, leading to more placements, more income, and that helps generate revenue.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Regarding pricing, the cost is somewhat high compared to other job portals, but the interface, flexibility of use, and user interface are excellent. I do not think the price is too high, but if Dice Tech Recruiting could compete with different portals by lowering the price slightly, it would help more organizations adopt the platform. I believe that maximum organizations would use Dice Tech Recruiting at a more competitive price point.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I have mostly used Dice Tech Recruiting and Monster in parallel before, but I focus more on Dice Tech Recruiting because the user interface is superior. Additionally, it helps in finding candidates where maximum tools and search capabilities I need are already available in Dice Tech Recruiting.

What other advice do I have?

Regarding Dice Tech Recruiting's AI capabilities, I think governance and security are adequate since they do not directly mention private details. The information is based on public details which candidates have already mentioned on different job portals, and the same public details can also be used on Dice Tech Recruiting. I feel that does not interrupt any governance or security issues, and apart from this, the team could provide more assistance on that to make work easier.

I would advise others looking into using Dice Tech Recruiting to use it more than other job portals if they want to find good, genuine, and great candidates, as Dice Tech Recruiting has a large database which helps in finding all types of resumes or profiles across different tech stacks. I definitely encourage using Dice Tech Recruiting compared to other portals based on my experience, and I know how much it will help in recruiting careers.

Currently, I have no additional thoughts about Dice Tech Recruiting beyond what I have already mentioned. If the team could work on those improvement aspects, it would be beneficial. Apart from those suggestions, Dice Tech Recruiting is currently performing well. I give Dice Tech Recruiting a rating of 9 out of 10.
