You pay per hour for the running EC2 instance with the CyberPanel image installed. It bundles a hosting control panel, a performance web server, web-based database administration, a lightweight DNS server, an FTP server, an automatic certificate client, and an email client. One-click installers set up common web applications.
Hourly software charges apply only while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops accruing hourly software fees. Underlying AWS storage for the volume may still cost you while the instance is stopped. Billing resumes when you start the instance again.
Each instance type maps to a different hourly rate based on its compute, memory, and storage resources. Smaller shared instances like t2 or t3 suit light hosting. Larger compute-, memory-, or storage-optimized families carry higher hourly rates. Your bill equals the chosen instance's hourly rate times hours running.

I've been a user of CyberPanel since 2020, and during this time, I've launched numerous instances with the platform. If there's one aspect where CyberPanel truly shines, it's unquestionably its performance. However, my journey with it has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride when it comes to stability and security.
CyberPanel undoubtedly excels in the performance department, making it a standout choice for those who prioritize speed and resource efficiency. However, the software falls short in terms of stability and security, with the mail server component being a particularly delicate aspect. To fully embrace CyberPanel, it's essential for the development team to address these stability and security concerns to provide a more reliable and secure hosting experience. Until then, users like me may continue to have reservations about fully relying on CyberPanel for critical email services.
