Pricing is not tiered by feature; every dimension delivers the same SUSE Linux Enterprise Micro 5.5 image for the arm64 (Arm 64-bit) architecture. Instead, the many dimensions map directly to AWS EC2 Arm-based (Graviton) instance types. Your hourly rate scales with the instance you choose. Smaller sizes such as medium, large, and nano cost less per hour, while larger sizes such as 24xlarge, 48xlarge, and bare-metal instances cost more. You match the instance size to your workload, and total cost follows the hours each instance runs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You pay the SUSE Linux Enterprise Micro 5.5 software licence fee per running instance-hour. This is separate from the underlying AWS EC2 compute charge. The rate covers the supported operating system image for arm64 Graviton instances. You pay both charges together on the same AWS invoice.
The software fee meters running hours only. A fully stopped instance stops accruing the SUSE software charge. Underlying AWS storage fees for the volume may still apply while the instance is stopped, but the operating system licence charge counts active running time.

Usage instructions
Use the image to start an instance of your choice in Amazon EC2. Once the instance is running connect to it using a Secure Shell (SSH) client as 'ec2-user' and the configured SSH key. The instance is connected to the SUSE update infrastructure to receive updates. Use the transactional-update command to update the system or install additional packages.
