Managing workflows across different systems is now super smooth

What do you like best about the product?
I really like JAMS because it ensures all our batch jobs are organised and run on time without us needing to watch over them. We link it up to our databases and file transfer systems, so the process is carried out step by step. It allows us to avoid keeping track of things ourselves and avoid skipping important parts. It is useful to me that it notifies us right away when there is an issue, allowing us to solve problems fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be simpler to manage job flow since it’s easy to miss out on dependencies when there are many steps. Because of this confusion, our team has faced some issues and fixing them means we cannot focus on other jobs. Making this area more visible would make our work much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JAMS has made it easy to handle job scheduling and how different jobs are connected. We used to have to cheque regularly to see if a job was done before starting the next one and it was very stressful. Now, JAMS handles that task and lets us know right away when anything is wrong, so our team can concentrate on more important tasks.

    Great Experience With JAMS

What do you like best about the product?
We've been using JAMS to streamline our job scheduling and automation processes, particularly in support of our E1 systems. In addition, we also use it to automate jobs in other integrated applications such as SQL. We hope to expand our usage of JAMS in the future. Highly recommended for teams looking to modernize and centralize their workload automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to me is the thick client desktop application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    E1 and SQL job scheduling.

Setting up complex job workflows was way less painful

    Reviewed on Jun 04, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how JAMS handles scheduling jobs across all our different servers, whether they're Windows or Linux, which is a huge help since we've got a mixed environment. The sheer variety of job types it supports is great too – we can automate everything from simple scripts and executables to complex database procedures and PowerShell. Once jobs are set up, the monitoring and alerting features are solid, giving us peace of mind that things are running when and how they should.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting some of the more complex configurations or dependency chains set up initially can take a bit of figuring out, there's definitely a learning curve to mastering all its capabilities. It's a powerful tool, but that means it's not always the most intuitive thing to jump into without some dedicated time exploring or training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JAMS is solving our major pain points around unreliable manual processes and scattered, homegrown scripts that were hard to manage and monitor. It centralizes all our automated tasks, ensuring they run consistently, reliably, and in the correct order, which has drastically reduced errors and saved us countless hours of manual effort. This standardization and visibility mean our team spends less time troubleshooting failed jobs and more time on value-adding work.

    Essential for Automation - Dependable

    Reviewed on Apr 24, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The Scheduler tool gives us one area to control all our Jobs across servers and environments. No more hunting across different servers for scheduled tasks.
Built-in alerting keeps us informed of failures, delays, or skipped tasks without having to babysit jobs or login to manually look at Scheduled tasks.
The support is brilliant - The live chat when available is a great feature, Raising a ticket always results in a quick response
What do you dislike about the product?
While it's easy to get started, more advanced tasks (like workflows, variables, dependencies, and custom triggers) require a deeper understanding and aren’t always intuitive.
There are example jobs and the support is there when required
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JAMS allows us to setup "jobs" which can be then replicated across customers - It keeps a centralised control point for jobs
Monitoring is key to the automations it provides real-time logging and instant alerting to our external alert system to catch and respond to failures immediately
Some of the advanced features can even allow for decision points for catches of issues
When configured correctly there is a big reduction in human interaction with tasks
