Gigabits (GigaOps) delivers a hardened NGINX deployment on Ubuntu 22 with integrated traffic intelligence built by Gigabits. It turns a bare NGINX server into a monitored, protected gateway.

Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for this hardened NGINX image running on Ubuntu 22. Pricing is usage-based, so you are billed only for the hours each instance runs. The many options you see are not feature tiers. Each one maps to a specific AWS EC2 instance type, grouped into families for general purpose, compute, memory, storage, GPU, and high-performance workloads. Larger instances with more CPU and memory carry a higher hourly rate. You pick the instance size that fits your workload, and the software charge scales with that choice. AWS infrastructure costs are billed separately.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each unit is one running EC2 instance of the type you select, billed per hour. The hourly software charge covers the hardened NGINX software on Ubuntu 22 for that single instance. Running two instances means two hourly charges. The rate changes with the instance type you pick.
The hourly software charge applies only while an instance runs. A stopped or powered-off instance accrues no software charge. You may still owe separate AWS fees for attached storage while the instance is stopped, but the software license meters running hours only.
