My main use case for Rubrik NAS Cloud Direct is taking real-time actions to see how they are responding if an agent is working in a certain behavior and how it's going if an agent is misbehaving. It provides a centralized view of agent activity and discovers agent interaction with data and identity.

A specific scenario where Rubrik NAS Cloud Direct was really helpful in my environment is that since we are using it for a long time, it provides us a well for monitoring and governance for the workflows we use in the current project. What stands out is the amount of context available on the agent actions rather than simply generating another security alert. It focuses and gives us a report including continuous monitoring with evaluation, policy enforcement, and remediation. Rubrik NAS Cloud Direct's Sage engine is designed to prevent and provide intent-based governance for the agent actions. This is why we are using it and this is how it is helping.

Rubrik NAS Cloud Direct offers multiple important features, but the most important feature which I love is the agent monitor which allows us to automatically discover the agents and gives us visibility into their activity in real time. The second is the agent inventory and risk profiling, which helps us identify which agents are active in real time and which ones require closer attention. Additionally, one of the features that helps us is data and identity visibility, allowing us to see what information an agent is accessing and which identity it interacts with. Moreover, the immutable audit trail is very useful when investigating why an agent performs a particular action.

Rubrik NAS Cloud Direct's agent monitor has made my work easier and more efficient, as it is very useful when we have to see the overall agentic monitor of the organization. To understand it better, we can just go there and check what is the activity, how many agents are active, who is working, and who is misbehaving. Sometimes they take commands from other agents, which is not expected. It gives us clarity over the agents and also helps us create proper ROI reports, ensuring that the agents are performing in the right direction with minimal cost.

Rubrik NAS Cloud Direct is working as expected, and I cannot come up with any improvements. It has given us a great return.

Before we take aggressive blocking rules, there is a risk of creating unnecessary friction for legitimate AI workflows. As Rubrik NAS Cloud Direct matures over time, it is relatively new compared to older players, and it is still growing. The platform can definitely work on the integrations and the policy configuration time to decrease whatever it is taking. The results it is providing are exceptional, so there is no problem.

The important part was that mapping our AI agents, environments, identities, and applications was relatively easy, and the parts were configured easily. It is designed as an enterprise control layer across even a traditional endpoint product. Rubrik NAS Cloud Direct's biggest deployment effort was for governance design and deciding which actions should be monitored, allowed, or blocked. This was all completed within a week, making the deployment good and straightforward.

Rubrik NAS Cloud Direct has positively impacted my organization by showing at least a seventy to eighty percent reduction in manual effort for agent monitoring and investigating, which is exceptional. We are saving a lot of time, with a major impact translating to around forty to sixty hours saved per month for security and platform teams. This equates to saving over six hundred hours of operational effort. Rubrik NAS Cloud Direct has also helped us reduce the project cost by at least three thousand to four thousand dollars, which has been significant. The bigger financial benefit is avoiding the potential cost of manually investigating and recurring from unwanted information. I would treat these numbers as environment-specific as it really depends upon the type of environment you are working on and the number of agents being monitored.

I really like Rubrik for its ease of use and intuitive interface, which makes it easy to monitor backup health, locate protected workloads, and perform recovery tasks without needing a lot of manual effort. I also appreciate the clear visibility it provides into backup status and compliance, helping me quickly identify and address potential issues. This simplifies day-to-day backup management while providing confidence that data can be recovered when needed. The initial setup was also quite straightforward, with a well-guided interface that made it easy to start managing backups. Overall, Rubrik provides a user-friendly experience for backup and recovery, with ease of management, visibility, and automation making it a valuable solution for enterprise data protection.

I find troubleshooting could be improved by providing more detailed error messages and clearer insights into backup failures, which would help me resolve issues more quickly. I would also appreciate more detailed reporting, better customization options, and improved troubleshooting guidance. Regular product enhancements and easier access to relevant documentation would make the overall experience even better. While I haven't faced major compatibility issues, ongoing support for newer browser versions and integration would be beneficial.
