Replicate a database once, deliver to many. Continuously refreshed, privacy-compliant virtual databases, are independently provisioned and maintained without taking up extra storage space. Used as a foundation for delivering test data environments and empowers your agile teams with the autonomy they need to move fast without waiting for test data.
Accelario Database Virtualization gives agile teams autonomy to move faster with a self-service portal that generates virtual test data environments with the click of a button. Virtual databases are managed like code and can be version controlled, rewinded back to previous data states, replicated and shared across teams, provisioned and refreshed as part of the CI/CD pipeline, without consuming extra storage. With Database Virtualization, development, integration, bug reproduction and testing are accelerated.
Highlights
Quick delivery of test data environments: High-speed test data copy and refresh in just minutes ensures that you never slow down with access to the test data you need, when you need it.
Self-service test data delivery: Effortless test data management with a user-friendly self-service portal, empowering your teams to create environments and manage test data seamlessly without any external assistance.
Minimize storage footprint: Generate multiple virtual environments that take up a fraction of the storage of solutions without virtualization.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Try this product free for 30 days according to the free trial terms set by the vendor. Usage-based pricing is in effect for usage beyond the free trial terms. Your free trial gets automatically converted to a paid subscription when the trial ends, but may be canceled any time before that.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for the compute instance you run this Virtualization Module on. Pricing is organized by AWS EC2 instance type, so your cost depends on the size and family you select. The options span the c5, c5a, c6a, and c6i compute-optimized families, ranging from 4xlarge through 18xlarge sizes. Larger instance sizes carry more CPU and memory and bill at higher hourly rates. You are not locked into a fixed term; billing follows actual runtime hours. Choose a size that matches your database virtualization workload and scale up or down as needs change.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one billed hour on a given instance type actually cover?
You pay the hourly rate for each hour the Virtualization Module runs on your chosen EC2 instance. The instance type sets the CPU and memory available. Larger sizes like 16xlarge and 18xlarge give more cores and memory for bigger virtualization workloads. Billing follows actual runtime, so stopped instances do not accrue software charges.
How does my cost change if I resize to a larger instance as data grows?
The platform scales vertically by moving to a bigger instance or horizontally by adding servers. When you switch to a size with more CPU and memory, you pay that instance's higher hourly rate for the hours it runs. There is no fixed term, so you can scale up or down as workloads change.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or paused?
Software charges meter running hours only. When an instance is fully stopped, it does not accrue hourly software fees. Underlying AWS storage or other AWS resource fees may still apply while the instance is stopped. To avoid software charges during idle periods, stop the instance rather than leave it running.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
