What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Phrase Localization Platform is project stage management of localization projects. Phrase Localization Platform is really a great tool to collaborate with different stakeholders across the globe, especially when you have different people operating in different roles. This tool has helped me deliver in a fast-paced environment with a reduced turnaround time for localization projects.
An example of how I've used Phrase Localization Platform in one of my recent localization projects is that it has made my life easier by helping me to maintain a translation memory and a term base. It teaches translation using Phrase Localization Platform to some of my team members who don't speak Italian, Spanish, or Arabic. So, it helps to translate into English. I'm also able to create a new job, assign it to a linguist, track progress, and proofread the translation after they finish.
What is most valuable?
The best features Phrase Localization Platform offers include translation memories and term bases. It's an AI-powered translation software, so it's very easy to use and accurate. It can be integrated with many machine translation engines. I can use it on PC or Mac. The mobile application makes it easy to manage and even work on translation jobs on the go.

What other advice do I have?
My overall experience with Phrase Localization Platform has been positive. I use it for translators who need to venture into computer-assisted translation.
I chose nine out of 10 for Phrase Localization Platform because it has a very good user interface that people can quickly learn and start using it. Its analysis feature is top-class, which helps me provide a detailed estimate to my client based on the file particulars and other projects. I also love it because it has a very accurate QA feature that helps me do a very high-quality check before I send out my translation to the client.
I switched from Smartcat to Phrase Localization Platform because it allows a project management platform with translation editing tools that enhance and perfect the integration of a translation and serves it as a platform from which to build up its data. It's also a complete tool, very cost-effective, and easy to use for anyone. Compared to Smartcat, it's somewhat complicated, especially the features. It's not very easy to use and is a bit costly compared to Phrase Localization Platform.
My advice to others looking into using Phrase Localization Platform is that it's well-suited when you want to manage and translate documents with a big translation team and information and data have to be shared and built together.

What is our primary use case?
Phrase Localization Platform is a great tool for any business involved in translations. We use this tool to store and build our translation database in multiple languages and also assign work to translators directly in this software. The integration is great and very helpful. I have personally been using this tool for almost six to seven years now. The learning curve was rather smooth, and it has been a pleasant product to use. I find myself constantly learning about various features it offers as I have gotten more and more familiar with it.
A specific example of how I use Phrase Localization Platform in my workflow is that it helps me translate terms, catch spelling and punctuation errors, and reminds me to use TM when I come across a similar sentence in the source text that I already translated. This makes my work very easy.
The AI helps a lot with my main use case. It is very easy to use and minimal training is required. Also, it offers smart revisions for quick and last-minute changes to the original documents, which is very beneficial. The pre-translate document feature based on various databases is also excellent.
What is most valuable?
The best features Phrase Localization Platform offers include being well-designed and user-friendly. The system lets me manage translation memories from old projects and also helps me create new translations easily. It is easy to learn, and the term base is great.
I find filtering segments and TM analysis particularly helpful features in Phrase Localization Platform.
Phrase Localization Platform has positively impacted my organization by increasing productivity, improving my skills, getting more clients due to software reliability, and also allowing us to finish translations much faster using MemoSource and saving a lot of time.
Productivity has improved by integrating our translation memory into this tool's cloud, which has saved us time and money. If we were to estimate, this has raised our department's return on investment by roughly 25 percent.
What needs improvement?
I would love to see better filter options in the project tab to improve Phrase Localization Platform.
When we have approximately 50 to 100 active projects, it can be hard to find specifics, which is something I have noticed about the needed improvements.
I give it a nine because the software offers both offline and online options for translators. It has a very user-friendly interface and is easy to pick up and learn. Also, it is very cost-effective. The reason why I did not give it a perfect score of 10 out of 10 is that I would love to see better filter options in the project tab.

I appreciate the ability to transition seamlessly between web-based and desktop editors while collaborating with other translators, proofreaders, or project managers, which is brilliant and a huge time saver, especially compared to other tools.
I use Phrase Localization Platform daily in my day-to-day work to translate and review translations from my colleagues, handling around 70,000 words per month. It is a great tool in the project design part, and from my experience, it is linguistic and very user-friendly, with an interface that is very easy to use and customize.

What do you like best about the product?
Academic support from Phrase is a great chance for translation studies students. Thanks to Phrase, our students can gain experience with CAT tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to complain about. They respond very quickly, and they have many solutions for everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CAT tools are generally expensive to use. Alternative CAT tools also don’t really provide the kind of academic support students need, even though the Phrase team has already considered positioning this solution as a form of academic support.
