What do you like best about the product?

I think one of the biggest advantages of Phrase is the management of projects, termbases, translation memories and other related materials. With all the structures and user-friendly interface in place, one can focus solely on good-quality, consistent translation.

What do you dislike about the product?

Extended response time in bigger translation jobs, very poor standalone Phrase desktop app, and price increases.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solves the matter of managing huge termbases and pretranslating documents - the latter of which is done thanks to an integration of AI translation engines.

What do you like best about the product?

Easy filtering. Quick translation process. Possibility to see translation from other team members.

Not very clear status of saved vs verified translation

Software translations for multiple languages powered by a native team members.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that Phrase is user-friendly and easy to use. The pricing is also appealing to me since it offers a lot of features that are usually found in more expensive options. I appreciate how it allows me to manage my projects easily and follow up with my fellow translators.

Sometimes, it is difficult for Phrase to open or crack formats such as PDF.

I use Phrase for managing translation projects and following up with fellow translators. It's user-friendly, easy to use, and offers many features at a competitive price.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like most about Phrase is how intuitive and efficient it is for managing multilingual translation projects. The translation editor is easy to work with, terminology and translation memories are well integrated, and the quality assurance features help reduce manual checks. It has significantly streamlined our workflow, improved consistency across projects, and made collaboration between project managers and linguists much smoother. Overall, it saves us a considerable amount of time while maintaining high translation quality.

What do you dislike about the product?

Overall, the platform is very reliable, but there are a few areas that could be improved. Some advanced settings and workflows can be difficult to locate, especially for new users, and certain administrative tasks require more clicks than necessary. It would also be great to see more flexibility in reporting and customization options, as well as continued improvements to performance when working with very large projects. These enhancements would make an already strong platform even more efficient.

Before using Phrase, managing multilingual projects and keeping terminology consistent across multiple languages was much more time-consuming. With Phrase, we can centralize translation memories, glossaries, and project workflows in one platform, making collaboration much more efficient. This has reduced manual work, improved consistency across projects, and significantly shortened turnaround times. As a language service provider, it has helped us deliver high-quality translations faster while minimizing errors and increasing overall productivity.

What do you like best about the product?

I appreciate the fluidity of the application, its intuitive interface, as well as the ease of access and use of the options located on the left.

What do you dislike about the product?

The options "Filter target" and "Filter source": I don't understand how to use these functions, nor what exactly they are for.

Spelling issues, etc., are corrected thanks to the QA function.

It's easy to use, and so far I haven't noticed any major shortcomings.

What do you dislike about the product?

It would be helpful to have an option to hide the right-side panel.

I don't have to jiggle with TMs or TBs. I just enter, do my job, and complete it.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that it's fast, it has the content preview feature, you can also download both the Word and XLIFF versions of your project, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?

It could integrate chatgpt in the future, that would be very useful.

The content preview feature really helps me see the content in context, which makes it much easier to review and understand.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that Phrase is simple, without any extra frills or distracting imagery. It's straightforward and helps me with my translation work, making it easy to find what I'm looking for. It simplifies the translation process, allowing me to keep my translations consistent by easily finding and filtering words and phrases. The QA process is also very helpful for catching extra spaces, missing tags, and ensuring vocabulary consistency. The setup was very easy for me since I'm familiar with similar tools, and I find Phrase to be very intuitive if you've used CAT tools before.

What do you dislike about the product?

I would like to have a function where I can filter out fuzzies with a specific percentage. Like, for example, I would be able to find everything between the range of 95 and 90%. And so on, just like you have in memoQ. So that's missing from Phrase. Unless it's juts that I haven't found it...

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Phrase makes the translation process very clear and simple for me. It helps me look up words and phrases in the translation memories, use glossaries, and find what I need. It also makes it easier to organize translations and keep them consistent.

What do you like best about the product?

Pleasant interface and smooth workflow. The setup is user-friendly, especially with the Termbase and Translation Memory.

I’ve used Phrase for several years, and I believe it’s the most user-friendly CAT tool I’ve worked with so far, even compared with a remote CAT I used for 25 years.

What do you dislike about the product?

With some of my clients using large TMs, I very often end up with hundreds (and hundreds) of false positives in the QA that I have to deactivate in order to deliver a job.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I don’t think Phrase really solves any specific problems for me. I see it more as a tool—a well-functioning one—that lets me get my work done without too many hindrances.

All products recommended, specially TMS and Strings

Some missing integrations between it and other tools like Jira, Confluence, and ClickHelp
