Easy to use.

Its simple and easy use. Its really logical.

Lack of Context for Translators
Translators often work in isolation without seeing where and how the content will be used.
Phrase provides in-context editing (e.g., live previews, screenshots), significantly improving translation accuracy.

Good platform with room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is web-based. It is also user-friendly and intuitive. Customer support was fast and responsive when I needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on the size of the job, it can be quite slow. And I think Phrase Strings is not as good as Phrase TMS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was fast at solving a downtime issue.
Userfriendly and my preferred CAT tool
What do you like best about the product?
First and foremost, the platform is very userfriendly and easy to navigate for both project managers and linguists. It comes with all the necesarry features a professional translator needs in order to perform their work, including TM's, TB's, concordance search, QA, comments, find and replace functionality and much more. It also offers the oportunity to see translations of the same segments that you're working on in more languages, which I find quite usefull to ensure ToV consistency when working on projects with other Nordic languages. I use the platform everyday, and the customer support is also very effective, they usually get back within a few hours, or minutes even.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it seems that not all QA issues are captured when running the QA check. This eventually means it's necessary to run it multiple times until all issues has been registered (and solved), before the project can be set to "complete".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase makes it easy to translate and localize texts, whether it being from scratch or with the use of MT (DeepL).

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that Phrase Localization Platform has a built in version control system that records every change made in the localization process. It allows there to be no confusion upon revisiting previous translations, and where to begin from. For this reason, this feature has proven to be key when we have to constantly update our products, because it allows us to avoid conflict translations and working as a group becomes much nicer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The major drawback of Phrase Localization Platform is that it lacks an intuitive error handling mechanism. The platform does provide some alerts, but they are never specific to the problem and do not provide actionable suggestions to resolve them. With translation uploads coming up errors sometimes occur, and since these errors aren’t always too obvious and thus not easy to solve, it can be frustrating the times that errors do happen when interpreting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without a doubt, Phrase Localization Platform has made our content localization much faster and more accurate. Handling multiple languages has been a crap shoot of a process until until now and it’s removed all of the hassle of having to manage multiple translation versions in our team. This has enabled us to reduce errors when launching products worldwide, as well as to increase the quality of translations which has also raised customer satisfaction.

The ability to modify the standard workflow through the use of tags
What do you dislike about the product?
While we can add tags so projects we are testing don't get sent through the workflow, it would be nice if we can access a Sandbox or Pre-Production environment to test new tags and workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to pre-translate using customized MT engines to push high word count projects through reliably and quickly to meet stakeholder expectations.

I like its user-friendly interface, powerful automation, wide range of integration, customer support and the documentation making it easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Response time from customer support as they tahe long time to respond.

Phrase Strings streamlines software localization by centralizing translations, automating workflows, and improving consistency, enabling faster releases and better multilingual user experiences.
Good platform but lack of SOPs/ visual instructions
What do you like best about the product?
It can be connected to CMS really easily and grab all pages that need to be translated. Import & export within just a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it difficult to find visual guidance. Of course there are tons of detailed articles about each process and how to use them. But I am more of a visual person, would like to see demos with screenshots or even videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to translate a full website within a week. There are dozens of pages and we need multiple languages. Phrase can easily grab everything, import to the platform, and after the translation is done, we can just export the pages within a few clicks.

What do you like best about the product?
A very serious tool that constantly evolves with new technologies.
The support team is very reactive and helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Certains fonctionalities of the tool are complex, and the users need to spend some time to understand how they work.
It will be very helpful if there was more material for learning (videos, illustrated manuals).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Phrase for all translation work in the company (website, manuals, internal and external communication, etc)
A great CAT tool for PMs and linguists
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, I enjoy using Phrase. It's very intuitive and user-friendly, even for junior project managers with little experience. Its extensive features streamline my workflow. The Helpdesk team is also great and quick to respond.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ever since the most recent upgrade, it seems like the tool has not been running as smoothly as before. The pages take a long time to load which can be pretty frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform features a variety of tools (term bases, translation memories, LQA) that help our translators stay consistent in their output, especially when working on extensive projects.
Another feature that I enjoy is allowing third-party reviewers (like subject matter experts from the requesting party) join the validation process by inviting them to work in Phrase.

What do you like best about the product?
Phrase is easy to use and works smoothly for the most part.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I don't have access to Phrase after finalizing my jobs for the client. I should be able to see the work that I have done afterwards as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I translate quicker via machine translation and the ease of use also helps me to perform faster.
