Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Once you know how it works, it's easy to use. There's a handy side bar for QA which lists possible mistakes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially I didn't know exactly how it worked, i.e. first accept the task, greenlight each segment and run a QA to double-check you haven't overlooked anything. But once you know how it works, it's very easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm part of a localization team that does newsletters for a fashion brand. There's a few of us working on the same text - either localizing or reviewing - and useful to see each other's amendments, if necessary.

Ce que j’aime le plus à propos de Phrase Localization Platform, c’est sa capacité à simplifier et optimiser le processus de localisation. Son interface intuitive, ses puissantes fonctionnalités d’automatisation et son intégration fluide avec divers outils permettent de gérer efficacement les traductions, garantissant ainsi une cohérence et une rapidité accrues. De plus, sa collaboration en temps réel entre équipes facilite le travail et améliore la qualité des traductions.

It lacks certain features or functionalities that are available in other localization platforms, such as more advanced reporting and analytics, tje inability to apply filters to documentation or more robust machine translation integration.

Phrase TMS: No hesitation for continuing to use
What do you like best about the product?
Phrase TMS is easy to operate with certain flexibilities, and ensuring the quickest trouble shooting in case of its need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Handling or operation manual is only English, which sometime causes difficulty for the staff members on the user side.

- Phrase is used for preparing the original text to conform with LLM or NMT translations.

The interface is absolutely intuitive and easy to use.
All operations can be carried out quickly, everything is at your fingertips.

Nothing in particular. Perhaps the use of a few more colours in the interface would be nice.

The consistency of the final text is always excellent.

En nuestra empresa, dimos un gran salto cualitativo al empezar a utilizar Phrase Strings. Nos ha permitido optimizar la gestión multilingüe de nuestro producto y lo usamos diariamente. Un gran avance con respecto a cómo lo gestionábamos anteriormente.
Es una herramienta intuitiva para el trabajo diario y con muchas posibilidades aún sin explorar.

What do you dislike about the product?
La implementación ha sido larga al tener que adaptar nuestro código a Phrase y aún sentimos que tiene mucho margen de mejora en ciertos detalles para el uso diario (filtros, integraciones, la base terminológica, conexión entre proyectos, mejora de analíticas), pero, aún así, en nuestro trabajo diario es más que suficiente.
No obstante, creemos que el precio es bastante elevado, no sale barato.

Partíamos de una gestión de las traducciones multilingües muy arcaica. Nos llevaba mucho tiempo mantener las traducciones de nuestro producto actualizado y era muy costoso. Ahora hemos optimizado este proceso gracias a Phrase y su gestión es mucho más llevadera.
También nos ha permitido unificar términos y traducciones al tener una visión más global.

Phrase est un outil de TAO complet et facile à prendre en main.

L'interface est claire et les raccourcis faciles à utiliser.

L'outil d'analyse des fichiers n'est pas optimal et le système de facturation pas très clair.

Gagner du temps avec les segments répétés et la gestion d'une base terminologique.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and intuitive design of the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish, when looking at a project, you could see at a glance the name of the translator (or QA person) for a given job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform makes it easy to assign translators and QA checkers to jobs, and it is also super easy to check the status of these jobs. This saves me a lot of time. Before we were using spreadsheets to send translations, which is cumbersome, and also involves time in creating the document itself.

Numbers don't always translate between different language formats. Inputs don't always save immediately, requiring the page to be reloaded.
