    Amazon Machine Image (AMI)

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Usage instructions

    Steps to Access the Instance:

    1. Open your terminal or command line on your local system.

    2. Use the SSH (Secure Shell) command to access the instance. Replace your-key.pem with the name of the key file you specified at instance launch and your-ip-address with the public IP address of the instance:

      ssh -i your-key.pem ec2-user@your-ip-address

Make sure that the key file (your-key.pem) is in the same directory from where you're running the SSH command.

    3. You will be prompted to confirm the connection, type "yes," and then press Enter. You will then be connected to the instance as the 'ec2-user' user.

You are now ready to work on your instance using the SSH connection and the 'ec2-user' user. Remember to close the connection when you're done!

Note: Ensure that the key file has the appropriate permissions so that only the owner can read it. You can use the chmod command to set the permissions correctly:

    chmod 400 your-key.pem

These instructions will allow you to securely access the instance using SSH and the 'ec2-user' user along with the key you specified during launch.
