Preset's Managed Private Cloud (MPC) is a premium, enterprise-grade deployment option designed to give organizations complete control over their data and infrastructure while benefiting from the power and flexibility of Preset's BI platform (built on Apache Superset). With MPC, Preset provisions and manages a dedicated, isolated instance of the Preset platform within the customer's own AWS account or VPC, ensuring maximum data security, privacy, and compliance.
MPC is ideal for customers with strict regulatory or security requirements (e.g., financial institutions, healthcare providers, or government agencies) who want to use Preset's modern analytics stack without relying on a multi-tenant cloud environment.

A fully managed, dedicated Preset deployment hosted in your AWS account with enterprise-grade network isolation, VPC peering, and private access. This includes infrastructure management, platform updates, support, and onboarding services for one Preset MPC environment.
This listing offers one pricing dimension, billed as units under a contract. Each unit covers one Preset Managed Private Cloud environment. The platform deploys inside your own AWS account, so your data stays within your VPC. The price includes infrastructure management, platform updates, support, and onboarding for that environment. You add units when you need more environments, so pricing scales by environment count. You pay Preset for the managed service and pay your cloud provider directly for the underlying infrastructure it runs on.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What exactly does one Preset MPC unit cover?
One unit covers a single Preset Managed Private Cloud environment. This is one dedicated deployment running inside your AWS account. It includes network isolation, VPC peering, and private access. Infrastructure management, platform updates, support, and onboarding for that one environment are all part of the unit. You add units to run more environments.
What is included in the Preset charge versus what I pay AWS?
You pay Preset for the managed service: provisioning, updates, scaling, monitoring, and maintenance of the environment. You pay your cloud provider directly for the underlying infrastructure the deployment consumes. These are separate charges. Preset handles operations while your data stays inside your own VPC.
Can I move my dashboards and datasets into this deployment if I switch models?
Yes. Preset exports charts, dashboards, and datasets as standard configuration files. These assets are portable, so you can migrate them into a Managed Private Cloud environment. This lets you carry existing work into the dedicated deployment covered by your unit.
