Bubbl is a location-based notification platform for hotels, resorts and leisure venues. An SDK plugs into an existing iOS or Android app, and a dashboard lets marketing and operations teams draw geofences around restaurants, spas, pools, check-in desks and other zones, then trigger notifications when a guest arrives or leaves. Recipients can be guests or staff, such as the concierge alerted when a returning guest reaches the lobby.
Bubbl turns a guest's location into a trigger for the right message, sent to the right person, in the right place.
The platform has two parts: An SDK that integrates into an existing guest or staff app on iOS or Android and a dashboard where marketing and operations teams build campaigns, drawing geofences around key places, such restaurants, spas, pools, beaches, golf courses, check-in desks, event spaces or car parks.
Triggers work on entry and exit. When a guest crosses a geofence, Bubbl can deliver a notification on the spot: an arrival greeting at check-in, a menu video poolside, a spa offer near the treatment rooms, or a short survey as they leave a venue. Notifications support image, video, audio, survey and text. Guests given a relevant, well-timed prompt are 3x more likely to complete an in-app purchase, so on-property bookings and orders are a natural fit.
Staff can be the target just as readily as guests. Use cases include a geofence routing the notification directly to a concierge app when a returning loyalty guest reaches the lobby, flagging their name and preferences so the team can greet them in person. The same applies to an accessibility request, a VIP arrival at an event space, or a table freeing up in a busy restaurant.
Integration is a single SDK install, typically under 30 minutes, with campaigns built and managed from Bubbl's dashboard. No further development work required. Move geofences and notification rules across one properties or a whole portfolio as seasons and events change in minutes.
Real-time reporting included. Metrics include arrivals, dwell, deliveries and engagement, with the capability of added audience segmentation and reusable notification templates.
Bubbl users see 86% higher engagement vs standard push notifications and 4x improvement in 30-day user retention.
Highlights
Notify guests based on location. Draw geofences around restaurants, bars, spas, pools, golf courses, check-in desks and event spaces. When a guest enters or leaves one, Bubbl delivers a notification on the spot: an arrival greeting, a poolside menu, a spa offer near the treatment rooms, or a post-visit survey.
Entry and exit triggers, with image, video, audio, survey and text formats.
Send the alert to staff. Setup geofences that trigger a notification when a flagged device arrives on a property, pushing an alert to the staff app without notifying the guest.
Common uses: a returning loyalty guest reaching the lobby, a VIP arrival at an event space, or a flagged accessibility request.
Setup campaigns in under 30 minutes, all managed through Bubbl's dashboard. Integration is a single SDK install for iOS or Android. After that, geofences and notification rules are built and managed from the dashboard, with no further development needed, across one property or a whole portfolio. Real-time reporting, audience segmentation and reusable templates are built in. Hosted on AWS.

You pay based on the number of mobile devices connected to your app, charged per thousand devices. This is one usage-based rate, so your cost scales directly with how many app users you reach. There are no separate tiers or size options here. As more devices connect through the integrated location software, your billing rises in proportion. You run this as a single subscription tied to your active user base, with the price per thousand devices staying constant regardless of volume.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one connected mobile device for billing?
A connected mobile device is any phone running your app with the location software installed and active. You are billed per thousand of these devices. Each app user's device counts once, so your total reflects the size of your active user base.
Does adding more geofences or campaigns increase what I pay?
No. Your cost is tied only to the number of connected mobile devices, charged per thousand. You can draw geofences of any shape, run multiple campaigns, and target audience segments without changing the price. Only the count of active devices moves your bill.
How does my cost change as my app user base grows?
Cost rises in step with connected devices, measured per thousand. If your active devices increase, you pay for the added thousands at the same per-thousand rate. The rate stays constant across volumes, so there are no tier jumps as you scale up.
