What do you like best about the product?
It is super flexible and allows you to connect to various data sources and build sleek, interactive dashboards that are accessible from all devices. Lots of flexibility in terms of role-based access and integration options as well. Once built, configured and setup, the dashboards update automatically and require no effort to maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires quite a bit of effort and time to get the data ready and dashboards built. But given what you get for that, its totally worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Toucan is helping us build customizable dashboards for our clients. Our data on a client-by-client basis is very varied and for that reason we needed a solution that offered us maximum flexibility and that is exactly what Toucan was able to deliver.

What do you like best about the product?
A very modern user interface in terms of graphics and application browsing and very user-friendly

A bit of frustration sometimes with the restriction in terms of visualization choices
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compared to a traditional decision-making platform, TOUCAN enables the implementation of applications that focus on essential data, with great ease of navigation towards more detailed data visualizations, with the presence of a collaborative and documentary space to comment on the data and thus better understand and analyze them.

What do you like best about the product?
Toucan is a tool that is very clean for performing simple analyses. You can quickly integrate data, make some modifications, and create a dynamic and effective report.
Understanding the tool is quite easy and intuitive for both a designer and a user.
The responsiveness of customer support is very pleasant.
The UX/UI interface of Toucan has been rather appreciable since v3.

What do you dislike about the product?
The simplicity that Toucan offers to be used by people who do not necessarily have training in this area is the negative point for me, who has been accustomed for several years to building dashboards:
- The datasets
The logic of creating datasets to manipulate data is rather good. However, it can quickly become cumbersome and difficult to adapt when there are many modifications or many datasets. In other tools, the ability to create variables or to make datasets interact significantly eases this aspect.
The real problem, in my opinion, remains the calculation of dynamic rates (which I have had to do many times). I have several filters in Toucan, and therefore the rate must be recalculated each time the user changes a filter, which forces me to tinker with the datasets.
The solution initially would be to be able to perform in the construction of a chart, for example, SUM(Field1) / AVG(Field2).
- The charts
The choice of options for each chart is a bit limited, but it's still OK. The problem here is that we cannot customize the display of the charts enough based on what is displayed.
For example, I would like a story that displays 3 sectors.
I understand that this would make the use of Toucan more complex, but it would allow optimizing the UX/UI part of certain charts.
